“I am thankful for the Dawson Inn for providing a room the night prior to his stent procedure at a reasonable rate. They have a shared kitchen area with snacks and water available for guests. Refrigerator in the room. Two full/queen size beds. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion available in the bathroom. Clean linens. Instead of having to wake up at 3am to make the journey, my grandfather and I were able to come up the night prior to his procedure, get a good night's rest, and come in at 530 just in time for his procedure.”
“This is probably my favorite YMCA. I am originally from the West Coast and have been to YMCAs in 15+ states. This one is TOP notch.
The location is clean and the staff seem to really love their jobs. I use the sauna, which is always clean. The work out equipment (weights and cardio equipment) is great. We have various options for working muscle groups or getting a good cardio sweat. Again, everything in these areas are so clean. Zumba, Yoga, Body Pump/Functional Fitness -- they are all phenomenal classes. The instructors seem happy to be present and motivated to make all of us work! I've heard great things (while sitting in the sauna) from the gals who participate in the water based classes but have yet to try it out. On weekends sometimes I bring kiddos to play in the indoor pool which has a slide and water dumping buckets (check the schedule for exact time these are open); it's a HIT.
I know I've mentioned it but the staff here love their jobs and it plays out wonderfully when you have a question about a sore muscle group, new exercise or even a lost water bottle. Everyone is helpful and engaged.

“This place is the best for pets. They will go out of their was to help them. They even take the time to get to know the animals and know them by name. I foster for them and recommend it to anyone who has ever thought about it. They are there to help and answer any questions or concerns. They give you supplies and make it easy.”

“Amazing staff and the campus is beautiful. Mind if you are going here it is Private. You will need to check in with the front desk. It's a beautiful campus, again its PRIVATELY OWNED-----> They run many programs out of this location that work with the local people, and kids in the area. Lots is going on here.***Be respectful of the grounds so that they can remain open to the public. ***”

“Its not at all a bad place to shop but sometimes there is a odd aroma throughout the store that is a little gross. The people there are friendly. The Items there are so random. Lots more Women’s Clothes than that of Men’s”

This is one of those places where people were lining up at the doors to get in but it's so big it didn't matter. I wish I was in better health so I could enjoy some of the goodies abound in centra virginia..”
