Oil Change in Manassas, VA

“I wanted to give this place a try, as they had great reviews, and they were great. I showed up around 2:10 and was quickly attended to. I wanted an oil and filter change with my own high-quality oil and filter supplied. Carlos was great and took care of it quickly for me. In the end the oil and filter change cost me $37, even with my own materials supplied, which isn't a bad deal for their time and disposal services, all things considered. I had intended to get a VA emissions/inspection done the same day, but for whatever reason, the inspector had to leave early that day. Thinking maybe I had missed an hours chart or calendar online I asked Carlos about that instance, and he said it isn't something that usually happens, and is quite irregular. There was another customer who came into the shop while I was there wanting a VA emissions/inspection too, and left annoyed/disappointed. Hopefully this inspector isn't costing the shop too much in his failure to deliver his services.The shop was small, but comfortable. There's a small bathroom, a few chairs and a bench seat. There is a complimentary charging station, on the front desk. One improvement that the shop could make is their mounting solution for their plaques on the wall as you walk in. The strong winds were blowing their plaques off the wall, because they were only held on by a cork-board push-pin. I would recommend a more permanent and substantial attachment method. I also thought that it was amusing when I noticed they had, not one, not two, but FOUR stickers in the main shop window showing what credit cards they accepted... Hey, I guess as long as they're displayed and honored, right? One positive thing that I saw over other shops in the area was that there was a buzzer built into the desk, for you to ring, so you aren't sitting idle and just hoping that an office staff member or mechanic sees you standing there in the office. They also have a few spots for dedicated customer parking right as you pull into the shops strip.Obviously from what was stated, I didn't have any 'repairs' done, but I am always on the lookout for a good independent shop. I had a good time at this shop and shall be recommending it to other friends and persons in need, in the future.Service: Oil change”

“Best shop around by far. Incredibly honest group of people. Fantastic rates with fast impressive work. Rare to find a shop like this one! 10/10 recommend!They'll tell you if a noise you hear should be fixed and not do unnecessary work. Willing to work on my modified mustang and interested to talk about project goals and how they can help by doing the work. I can't do much of the heavy lifting anymore, but these guys are happy to do the work and do it well with quick turnaround.This is the only shop I'll take my vehicles to any more!”

The sales manager Tim spoke to us a bit and helped during the process also and it was pleasant working and chatting with him. “Several weeks ago I was driving through VA, in a light snow, and my wipers weren't working properly. I Googled "Jiffy Lube near me" and was directed to this location.I was assisted immediately. I told the representative that I needed wipers. After checking to see which wipers were in stock to fit my car, I was offered two options.The salesmanship was OUTSTANDING. I'm a retired sales and hospitality trainer. The representative offered me two options 1) "Basic" and 2) "Upgrade"....my terms not his.When describing the basic he told me they would do the job and be better than what I already had on my car. When talking about the upgraded model he said things like "These have a medal strip to keep them flush against the windshield so that the wiper will stay securely against the window even in this bad weather"....then he offered prices....Basic was....X.....the upgrade was only a few dollars more.......I went with the upgrade...and I'm glad I did. I LOVE them....After 4 weeks, three snow storms and numerous rains the wipers are still flush against the windshieldAND.....the representative was polite, conversational, and even allowed me to stay in my car while the transaction was taking place.This was on OUTSTANDING service and sales experience. Reps at most places would have said wipers are X and XX....which one do you want. Not here....them offering a description and benefit of the product was PERFECT.I safely drove home and have told many others about the wipers.....AND the great experience at this Jiffy Lube”
