“Stopped for gas and a snack during a road trip. The staff were pleasant to chat with, and the kind lady at the register gave me some napkins she knew I'd need for the Big Mississippi ice cream sandwich.”
“I am so excited to see they have Sunday hours. So many small markets close on Sundays and that's the day most people are traveling home!
The staff was friendly and funny. This is just a small 1 room market with outdoor stands, as well. Small gravel parking lot with room for a trailer or camper, just take your time getting in and out of in a larger vehicle. Parking lot is safe for motorcycles.
The variety was amazing. Sauces, jams, syrups, pickled produce, ice cream, fresh produce, crafts from local artisans. The cherry BBQ sauce was excellent, the peach hot sauce even better! All the fresh produce was quality! Prices are reasonable and match other markets.
Highly recommend you stopping in.”
“Timmy's Grocery is located on the edge of Victoria, VA. It is an unassuming convenience gas station that touts itself as the "Home of the Timmy Dog". The inside is small, but clean with a sizable kitchen area serving a menu of crispy, moist chicken. My Timmy Dog with the Works was lined w strips of cheese covered with chili and slaw. Good tasting dog.”

“Friendly attendants for a self service station. No cold water available at the fountain or tap, only available through bottle purchase. Food, drink and snack prices are what you would typically pay (above average) for a convenience store but their gas prices are average compared to the other local stations so what you would spend in gas to get to town is what you pay for the convenience of the stations location”

“Still has the greatest prices on some products - and love the remodeling (and am looking forward to seeing when it's finished). But, am disappointed that the store no longer sells some items (one is bras). And, because of the new setup, there is only one cashier most of the time - even when there is a long line of people. Also, would appreciate if stocking carts and other stocking clutter did not block the merchandise.UPDATE: The store has been revamped! Like the new look with more space and more products. The aisles are not as crowded anymore and they have two cashiers a lot of the time.”

“Local meat products. SMOKED HAMS, hocks and other delicacies. A well know place for their fried chicken I had some chicken. The sides looked really nice but I was running an errand with "no beans"?. First time in. Will be back! Then, I will have those white beans with ham bits! Can't miss it!”
