“Sweetest little bookshop with an amazing selection of new books. The owner was able to make wonderful recommendations for me and my daughter. I was impressed with how well she knew everything on her shelves! Great if you are in need of a gift for the reader in your life!”
“This location in Glen Allen, VA is very nice. The staff are friendly and the store is clean and organized. They don't have a wide variety of computer books but they make up for it with great magazine collections.”
“This is hands down my favorite store to nerd out in. No matter how many times I visit, I always end up discovering something new. You can easily lose yourself for hours wandering through the aisles, whether you’re a dedicated reader, a collector, or just someone who enjoys exploring unique finds. Every section has something that sparks curiosity, nostalgia, or excitement.
What I love most is how much of it brings back childhood memories. From books and games to collectibles and pop culture treasures, there’s a sense of wonder around every corner. It’s one of those rare places that makes you slow down, browse, and enjoy the experience rather than rushing in and out. Even if you don’t come in looking for anything specific, you’ll almost always leave having found something interesting.
In a time when so many stores feel the same, this place stands out. It has personality, character, and an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. I only wish stores like this existed all across the country because they are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Places that inspire imagination, creativity, and a little bit of nostalgia are truly special, and this store does all of that exceptionally well. Every visit feels like a trip down memory lane, and that’s what makes it one of my favorite places to spend time.”
“The Midlothian Campus is so much better and nicer than the Chester Campus which is getting a little antiquated and run-down even in light of the repairs and renovations that it has had. Honestly if you have the choice to have your classes here versus Chester I would highly recommend it. The buildings are much nicer, the classrooms are much nicer, the bathrooms are nicer. Everything is nicer. I've had two classes at the Chester Campus and in both of the classrooms the furniture was falling apart, unclean, ect. The keyboard in the testing center at the Chester Campus were also too worn and a pain to type on as well. The Midlothian campus also has a gym as well and it has many common areas to stay hang out around if you need to wait on a ride or anything. Its also easy to get to since it is right the highway versus Chester where you have a good deal of lights before you can get to it.”
“We LOVE the Book Exchange. Their children’s book selection is always new and plentiful. The women working there are incredibly kind and helpful. They also have an amazing puzzle selection!”
