“I did not have an issue checking in. The location was ideal for where I needed to be for the holidays. Parking lot was well lit and generally clean. The room was recently renovated and had a spacious and thoughtful design.

The only real issues I had were regarding the shower and cleaning products used in the room.

The shower temperature did not get above lukewarm both in the morning and evening showers that I took. I spoke to the front desk about it in the evening and they stated that they didn't have any issues with their hot water but when I took a shower in the morning I had the same issue. I tested the water in the sink and that got scalding hot so I informed the front desk at checkout that it seems their showers were installed with a regulator on temperature that did not allow the shower temperature to get above lukewarm which is definitely NOT ideal. To their credit the front desk receptionist at checkout gave me points towards a future stay because I booked with an outside service they couldn't provide a discount or partial refund on the room so I appreciate them listening and acknowledging the issue and attempting to rectify it.

The cleaning solutions they used in the rooms had a very strong smell and I wonder if they spray their rooms with a perfume or cologne or something. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and to me it seemed overpowering to others it may not have.

I would also say that it may be good for them to offer a easier way to connect streaming devices to their televisions as their cable options were fuzzy at best and not that diverse in offerings.”

“The clues were very clever and the art and design were great. Some of the wall hangings and items were worn down and some needed some repair, but he mentioned that he was working on that. Regardless... I'm hooked on escape rooms.”

“At The Place, turnkey truly means turnkey. Everything is done seamlessly. The Hermitage H.S. Class of 1965 held its 60th reunion at The Place on October 11, 2025. The Ballroom was the perfect size and setup. The food on the buffet was magnificent, both in preparation and nutritional suitability for us “old folks”. The staff and management were anticipatory, completely helpful, and accommodating. The overall pricing was reasonable for what we received. We knew The Place was a hit when the Reunion Committee received a flood of praises and NO complaints. Everyone felt as comfortable as in their own homes. Several classmates said this was our best reunion ever and the majority of the work was done for us. FIVE STARS!”

“I've been to three shows here and it's always a good time. Food is always great although two of the three times they had a condensed menu, so if you see something online that catches your eye, If your show isn't sold out or at least popular there's a chance you won't be able to get it.

Venue is very nice. Its cool having a concert venue where you can sit down and eat, but they don't let it get in the way of the music itself. They bring in some great artists!”

“I was in a time crunch to find a venue to have my wife's birthday. My friend sent me the link to The Hidden Spot and I called, the owner Janel answered on the 2nd ring and she was amazing. We met, fell in love with the event space and booked!

Janel has been nothing but kind, professional and hospitable to myself and all of our guests!

The decorations, the service, the communication, the venue were all top tier!

“Nice atmosphere, good music and food. A little pricey at $10.99 a game and $7 for shoe rental. Buy 2 games and get the 3rd at half price isn't bad. But the cost is per person, not lane or time based use. So, for a family of 4, even with half price 3rd rounds you're looking at over $100 for bowling and $28 for shoes. Plus if you get food and drinks and play video games, it could easily be an almost $200 night out. That's just numbers though - the business itself and the employees are great! It's a family friendly and extremely fun atmosphere. Check their website before going to see if they have any specials or coupons (they usually do). Friday and Saturday nights there's a live DJ and you can reserve a lane online for up to 6 people. They also have the best lane balls I've ever seen at a bowling alley. Lots of choices, so if you don't have a bowling ball, they got that covered nicely (I've been bowling since about 1983). We will definitely go back when we can. They also have bowling leagues you can join.”

I got an ad on IG a few months ago that CSz would be performing a D&D show. I went ahead and purchased some tickets for my spouse's birthday, since we've been getting into the tabletop game recently.

It was engaging, comedic, and organic. We also appreciate how affordable it was, we'd absolutely consider going to another in the future.

They had drinks, but I don't recall them selling anything else like food, or snacks; however, the location is near a few restaurants in case you want to grab something to eat before a performance.”

“Good pool spot. They are going thru a change of staff apparently, and new crew doesn't know the ins-and-outs of pool league and the league costs vs. play-by-hour costs. But other than that, it's a decent place to go”

“Fun outdoor venue to meet friends, listen to live music (when they have it)and drink wine. Plenty of parking and has different food trucks come in to provide food for purchase. Bring a lawn chair or blanket in case tables are full.”

“Been to several bowling alleys in my lifetime! Bowlero West End definitely stands out amongst all of them.

Besides being clean they have plenty of bowling balls to choose from, they offer a variety of food and drinks, Have an arcade and the staff is simply amazing.

Every time I have been there, I have been greeted with a smile and a genuine respect that they are happy to see us.

Brennan is the most friendly, Kind hearted empathetic human being I’ve come across in this current world we live in. He is always willing to take the extra steps to make sure we receive incredible service during the time we are there.

Whether it’s bring us a A cup of water help finding the right bowling ball or just a simple smile he always makes our experience fun.

Last week I went with some friends for the night bowling special (what an amazing deal). Christopher, the general manager happened to be there that night, and he also treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. He even checked on us to make sure everything was running smoothly. What a nice guy.

For those who want to go bowling this is the place to go.

“Your expectations is a wonderful place to rent from. The owner is very respectful and she goes over and beyond to supply you with everything that you need. The instructions were easy to follow far as clean up and I was able to get my deposit back! I was happy about that. The place is very very clean and spacious. I would strongly suggest renting here and the price is sooo worth it ! I can’t see why there’s any bad reviews about this place. I will rent here again.”

“It's pricey but it's so much fun! The cars are quick and easy to drive for all ages. I would like to try another location with a bigger track but the one here is really good. We will definitely return!”

“We had a pleasant one-night stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Richmond, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel feels modern and well-maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms that met all our needs—no issues there. The staff was incredibly helpful, from check-in to answering our questions, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The highlight was the breakfast buffet at Cafe Palm, which was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options and some of the best coffee we’ve had at a hotel.
The indoor-outdoor pool setup looked fantastic and was a unique feature we were excited to try. Unfortunately, a family reunion was happening during our stay, and a group of teenagers was quite loud and disruptive in the pool area, which was a bummer and made it hard to enjoy. While the pool itself was clean and inviting, the noise and trash made it so I didn't want to go in. There was another parent with their child, they did the same as me. Walked in, looked at the disaster, then truned around. Kids and teenagers, no parents in sight. I know staff might have been reluctant to say anything because they didn't want to seem racist, but this was pretty bad. Staff should have least asked for adults to be present.

Despite the pool issue, the hotel’s cleanliness, modern vibe, and excellent breakfast made our stay enjoyable. The staff’s friendliness and the convenient amenities, like free Wi-Fi and parking, added to the positive experience. We’d consider staying again, hoping for a quieter pool next time”

“This is supposed to be a smoke free property but my room smelled of cigarette smoke. I was only staying for one night so I didn't bring it to the attention of the front desk, had I stayed longer I would. Overall the room clean enough. Hotel and decor is outdated and the light in the bathroom kept going in and out. Overall you could probably get better value for your money elsewhere but if you just need a decent place to sleep, this will do.”

“I love this hotel. My son lives nearby and I stay here when I visit from Northern Virginia. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is excellent.

I was checked in yesterday by Nicole and Cassie, who were very helpful and friendly. Hot breakfast is included and is nice. There is coffee available 24 hours.

A great Willow Lawn location with lots of shopping and good eating nearby.”

“I booked through a third-party. There was an issue with my reservation. The man working at the front desk was extremely patient and kind. He helped me through the issue and made sure I had a comfortable room to stay in with my dogs. I had been having one of the hardest weeks of my life and his kindness meant more to me than I can express. The room itself was spacious and clean”

“This place was great! I had an issue at another hotel and this nice young man at the front desk signed me up for the rewards program. He also gave me the best possible rate for checking in at 9pm.
The next morning, I asked for late check out and was given till 2pm before I had to leave. This was a wonderful experience, the staff take care of the guests and I would stay here again and again.”

“Everyone tells you about the bad but no one talks enough about the good the front desk staff is exceptional. Every time I stay at this property which I've had more times short of home. An extra thank you to my girl holding down breakfast. Please forgive me I cannot remember her name but the ladies throw down. Biscuits and gravy is life, I think it's Ms Renee? Michelle? I feel so bad nevertheless so hospitable and courteous to everyone even gave me to go container to make sure I had breakfast for the day when I was moving busy and out the door early. Love this place will definitely be back in the future”
