“This is definitely an older property, but well maintained. Comfortable beds, quiet despite the fact that lots of young people were staying for a state final swim and diving meets were staying here.It was clean, dog friendly, and inexpensive. We needed a dog friendly property to watch our granddaughter compete in the state finals and this was convenient and just fine. Some people had issues with water pressure and hot water, but I had plenty of pressure and hot water at 9 am. Breakfast was good, area was kept clean, friendly staff. Only issue was no daily housekeeping, which seems to be the standard these days.Walkability: There isn't anything close to walk to in the area, or any restaurants close by really. They do sell snacks and drink by the front desk.”

“We just had a big Greek wedding and were looking for the perfect venue. We found it at the Renaissance! It’s big, clean, and has lots of extra space. We were planning this wedding and had this venue booked for over 18 months and Jon and Tommy were helpful every step of the way! They answered all of our questions fast and if there was something we wanted, they made sure we had it! They made wedding planning stress free and the whole experience was amazing- from the food, to the place settings, down to the beautiful setting. It could not have gone any better!!! also wanted to give a shout out to Dana, our day of coordinator with The Renaissance. She made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day and handled our hectic wedding party with ease and professionalism. Highly recommend this venue!!!!”

“We had a very nice dinner here. The shrimp and scallop with the orange sticky rice was perfect. The hardshell pasta dish was lovely. Seafood cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and pleasant. You can park across the street in the parking garage and they will stamp it for you.Also had the chocolate torte. Delicious!”

“I thought I was going to have a unique review of this place because I attended a wedding reception here but it seems all the other reviewers have similar reviews. So because I was here for a reception, I can’t speak on any normal day to day but I’ll write about what I can. This is a really neat place in a popular nightlife area location next to a train station. The elevated train passes through every now and then and can be noisy but is still neat to watch. The building is beautiful. It was an interesting set up for a reception in that people were kind of spread out but it was still a good experience. Whenever you go, regardless of time of year, I would recommend eating outside. The food was excellent. The drinks were good as was the service. This was definitely a cool place.”

“Loved It!! We got there kinda late in the day, I think it was right before they closed, so we ( my bf & I) were the only ones there. He's from this area & he's much older than I am so he enjoyed talking about some of the history he remembers being around for and I enjoyed listening & learning alot about the history of Richmond, Va and even more so about the history of him.”

“This place is so lovely but even better…the service. The owner, Andrew, made sure we had everything we needed and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The space is great and has a really cute sitting area with modern furniture that added extra seating for our guests. The exposed brick looks great in pictures, not to mention great lighting overall. The location is perfect with convenient parking. If you’re in need of a venue to host a private event, baby shower, bridal shower etc…please check this place out. I give it 5 stars!!!!”

“Trinity Family Life Center ....Is my favorite place to go work out , it's Clean, Safe Environment makes it Easy to relax & feel Comfortable. They have Sanitizer spray so U won't have 2 Worry about Germs (COVID-19). The Receptionist at the Door & Staff members are professional , kind & polite. Being a member @ Trinity Family Life Center is Fantastic and it's very affordable. So if you want to get in shape , learn to dance , watch an organized Basketball tournament & meet good new people ...Come and join Trinity Family Life Center it'll be the best thing you've for yourself in a long time...PS... He made picking out menus, tastings, and anything in between so easy and seamless. We have had a ton of people tell us they loved the food! The catering staff was polite, respectful, and did an amazing job during our reception. I would highly recommend Urban Roost for catering!”

“We stopped in while on a trip between Delaware and North Carolina. We stopped in because I had heard the Gingerbread Stout was awesome. We were not disappointed. The brewery has great indoor and outdoor space. There are a couple of fire pits outside for could weather. There is a pizza place inside. The pizza is very good if a bit pricey. I had the bourbon barrel, and coffee variants of the GBS. Both were excellent! We will certainly return!”

We are so lucky to have these local acts showcased here in Richmond. My only issue is available seating but I don't mind standing for the unbelievable price of $5!!”

“The food from here is delicious! We got the mezze chicken kebab platter and a side of tabbouleh to go. The whipped feta that came with the chicken & rice was incredibly tasty. It came with ~7 pieces of fresh pita, the perfect amount to try all the small dishes/dips that come with the meal. We were welcomed as soon as we entered and our host/server was incredibly kind as we waited for our takeout order to be prepared. The flavors and variety justified the price - will be returning!Parking: Busy location, but easy to find a spot!”

The instructions were easy to follow far as clean up and I was able to get my deposit back! I was happy about that. The place is very very clean and spacious. I would strongly suggest renting here and the price is sooo worth it ! I can’t see why there’s any bad reviews about this place. I will rent here again.”
