“All in all we’ve been twice. It’s very family friendly and my little one is scared of the dark. On our first visit we found the chocolate factory to be completely whimsical and we managed to escape with 15 min or so. On our second time going my daughter was so scared of the dimly lit room at the beginning of Alice and wonderland (though it’s pretty well lit, just not bright) that the staff gave her a flashlight and let her sit in on the inner workings of the game master room until we progressed to the well lit room. They were so kind and in the end my daughter had a terrific time yet again. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Kindness is definitely their best quality.”

The bar space is beautiful to set up food and alcohol. The outside space is wonderful for hanging out and playing games. There was tons of space for our 90 guests to roam the event space.
Kerith is also a wonderful communicator and answered all the questions I had prior to our event. I actually picked this venue because a friend of mine also had her baby shower here and loved the lightening, location and vibe. 10/10 recommend to host any event here!!”

“Gallery5 is a gorgeous, character-filled historic firehouse, and it’s the perfect backdrop for community learning. I took a beginner’s hand-sewing and textile repair class there with Megan, and she was fantastic. She created a warm, patient, and low-stress environment that felt very safe for beginners. We learned practical, everyday skills like sewing on buttons, repairing tears, and patching holes, all while chatting about the sustainability of mending our own clothes in a world of overconsumption. She provided all the tools, making it a perfectly pleasant morning of learning. I’m so grateful Richmond has spaces like this that foster genuine, unique community engagement. Highly recommend keeping an eye on their event calendar!”

“Fabulous venue if you want to provide your own food and drinks! Upstairs venue has the largest dance floor in central VA! Lower level, while not “fancy” is perfect for smaller gatherings! AND(!), VERY REASONABLY PRICED!!”
“We hosted an event at 2810: a community gathering place this Spring, and the layout was perfect for creating a welcoming guest experience. Adrianna was great to work with, she helped us figure out the best way to install larger displays, including a timeline along the hallway connecting the Common Room to The Depot. The space has a warm, inviting feel like being in someone’s home, but comfortably accommodating 100+ guests. Hope to be back soon!”

“Attended a wedding at Royal Manchester Event and was highly impressed! The venue is truly spacious and the layout is fantastic—they've managed to keep the floor plan clear with surprisingly few view-blocking columns. The stage is high and clear for great sight lines. Plus, the photo booth was a huge, memorable hit! A top-tier event space in Virginia.”
“Very nice staff, nice facility, but I do have to point something out... this is not your average Putt-Putt; what I mean by that is that the putting is above average difficulty. Many of these greens have some crazy gradation changes, and a lot of water traps and sand traps. AKA, Don't come here thinking you're going to get a bunch of easy twos and threes; But definitely come here if you really want to work on your putting game with difficult gradations. The batting cages are very nice and they have a lot of variety of speed between baseballs and softballs, as well as a nice selection of bats if you're not going to bring your own. PS. Kudos to this place for having some very strategically placed shade trees. But definitely still bring some sunscreen.”

“I was lucky enough to rent out the beautiful gallery space for a pop up shop for my small business. David & Claire were incredibly accommodating to the hours I requested, generously included their large tables and stock of chairs, and were just lovely to work with. I couldn't have imagined the event anywhere more perfect. The space gets great natural light, it's spacious, but feels intimate, and we had access to any amenity needed. Highly recommend!”

I wanted to go again this year, but luckily my friend did go and posted updates, it was so much fun! I recommend coming here in cosplay because you feel so awesome and people recognize you, but the merch is also peak!”
“Great place to bowl and fun atmosphere with arcade. I've been to this location on multiple occasions. The last visit had a very limited selection of bowling balls. Only heavier options. The lighter options were all in use making bowling difficult.”

“We went to see Orbital Big Band. It was great jazz and the venue is funky and unique. It only hold about 120 people in the stage area so it's intimate and the acoustics were good. It never got uncomfortablely loud. The bar had a huge selection. You order through their app and the bring it to you.
The only thing I didn't care for was the seating. They have some tables with chairs in the front of the stage but on the sides they have stools. The stools would be fine if it weren't for the fact that the tables are regular table height so you can't get your knees underneath. That's a little uncomfortable. I mostly stood, which was fine so I could move to the music.”
