“Had a reservation at the Lorton Holiday Inn. We were driving from Connecticut (still about an hour and a half away) at 11:40pm, when we received a call that our room was double booked and they no longer had availability and they basically told us to kick rocks. After arguing with the staff member at that hotel, he reluctantly reached out to the Dumfries Holiday Inn where we were lucky to snag the last available room. Staff member at the desk was nice (as was the employee in the morning at checkout). Room was clean, AC worked well and bed was comfy.”

“Stayed one night over labor day weekend. Pluses were free parking, only 40min drive to DC, good breakfast, fairly large room and bathrooms, washing machines available for laundry ($2 fee).
Cons was the cleanliness was lacking. Some mold on air conditioning and on bathroom doorways, dust behind bathroom wall door and heavy smell of mildew on hallways. We stayed on the 3rd floor. If we were staying longer than one night we'd consider staying elsewhere.”
“The service was great and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a horrible experience at the Day's Inn (Extremely dirty hotel, we walked in the room and before we even put our bags down we walked back out) and we needed a room for the night. The lady at the front (I can't remember her name, but I believe she was Indian) was very helpful and when she saw me later that evening she asked me was everything ok and was I satisfied with the room. After what my wife and I just went through, I really appreciated her asking.”
“Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms feature showers only. Comfortable chairs in the room and good sized fridge. Breakfast was tasty. Parking was filled up.”

“CLEAN!!! You can’t get closer to Carowinds than this! Great rates, breakfast was exactly what you’d expect, the pool was quite small so in the evening when lots of people/kids were there it felt tiny, hardly any move to room without bumping into others. Will definitely stay whenever we come to Carowinds.”
“I checked in after dinner and was pretty tired after a long drive check-in was very easy. The rooms were very clean. I love the fresh fluffy white towels, the nice location and everyone that works here is very kind. There’s plenty of food and stores nearby for traveling if you need something quick from Walmart is very convenient.”

“The rooms were basic, a little out dated but clean and comfortable. The Fitness room was basic..a bit lacking but useful for what I needed to do.(Be careful and hold on to the handles on that treadmill it slips.) The breakfast was basic but good enough for the whole family. I would stay again. The location and price was great!”
“Mary has been so helpfull to ilus on this stay, i am currently staying here with my kids and its a good place, good family enviroment we feel safe front desk is friendly except for two front desk clerks but i try not to go when they in front. Other then that everything is perfect i live it my kids love it and thats what matters.!!! Mary, Flor and a man i don’t recall his name but they always nice and finding ways to make my stay pleasant.”

“This is one of the finest hotel I've come across. The service was amazing. May it be the front counter or the breakfast (served from 6-9) the location is in walking distance of the Mall, 7/11, Ross. Any kind of food and clothing that may be needed Entertainment. Rooms were big and spacious. Sheet of the bed didn't feel cheap soft to the touch.”
