“I've visited this adorable country store located right off Highway 81 near Troutville, Virginia many times. They have CLEAN gas pumps (believe it or not), and a terrific gift area, as well as the usual food, groceries and beverages. I've bought gifts for friends here for years thanks to the excellent variety of items procured by the owner. She always has some lovely serving pieces, placemats, napkins, cards, garden flags, and now, vintage kitchen, glassware, and gift pieces she's selected from antique stores. They have both seating indoors and on the porch. There's room to walk your dog and a special receptacle for poo bags. It's a place well worth stopping for.”

“Stopped to see if the offered ethanol free gasoline, they don't. However the lady working the afternoon/evening shift was very friendly and pleasant. Also of note, the store now smells pretty good inside. Formerly it was difficult to enter because it smelled so bad. Well done Vinton Foodmart BP for turning it around. May stop in more often.”

“Came just now at 8:30 and they had very clean bathroom, ordered food and the girl that gave us the food was very kind the guy behind the drinks bar, and the lady behind the register was the kindest lady, this team of workers are the sweetest especially this late in the evening!, definitely coming back here more often.”

“Very welcoming and nice! I love this “Speedy I-81” Exxon!! I have stopped by on multiple occasions when traveling thru and they always greet me so warmly and ask how I’m doing. They told me “it was so nice to see you Michael” last time. They actually remembered my name! Two of them offered me a hug after hearing about my missing brother. Only thing I didn’t like is I put up a poster of my missing bro here one time. They kept it up for a few months but then it got taken down. They said a customer wanted it but I’m not sure. Hope they wouldn’t toss his poster in the garbage.”
“I had a very good experience at Buchanan CITGO. The gas station was clean, well-organized, and easy to access. The pumps were working properly and the fuel service was quick and efficient. The convenience store had a good selection of snacks, drinks, and travel essentials at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stop smooth and pleasant. Overall, it’s a reliable place to fuel up and take a short break during travel, and I would definitely stop here again.”

“David is very nice! I’ve been served by him before and he was nothing but kind. There are plenty of rude customers who act like they’re always right and you’re supposed to do whatever they demand.About 6 months ago, I came in here and had a conversation with an employee for probably 45 minutes about what they’d experienced during their shift, how their boss treated them, etc. They said they really needed someone to talk to because they feel they can’t do anything right and they feel everyone treats them like dirt. They hugged me and told me they really appreciate me. You never know what someone is going through. The people at this E Washington Shell go through a lot!”
