“Great place to get a tire fixed or replaced. Willy is fast as lightning on tires. In and out in probably about 45 minutes and most of that was taking care of the bill. Highly recommended if you're in the Harrisonburg/ Mt. Crawford, VA area and are having tire issues. They do DOT inspections as well.”

“Awesome experience! Car started misfiring on a road trip Saturday afternoon. I pulled up even though they weren’t supposed to be open. I was immediately greeted and helped. They did a test drive and checked codes. Then a thorough engine inspection, removed the covers, checked the fluids. Turned out to be an animal nest on the lower part of the engine. After removing the nest they checked and rechecked all the wires, connections and anywhere there may have been chewing. They didn’t want to charge me! I was back on the road within 90 minutes with a recommendation to follow up with the dealer for any electrical problems. I made my 7 hour journey safely and confidently. God bless you guys for being so willing to help a woman in need and on short notice!”

“Sent my sales rep Josh A. in Norfolk a text at 5:30 this morning 5-24-2024. A friend of mine was stuck overnight with a bad tire in fishersville, Va. The company I work for back in Chesapeake has a commercial account Josh set up for us. Told him I needed a Toyo RT 35 12.50 R20. Josh got in contact with the manager of Harrisonburg 25 miles from where my buddy was. He was able to get it plugged and it would hold air long enough to make the short drive to Harrisonburg. Got there right as the branch was opening and had him fixed and back on the road by 9:00am to head back to the hotel and grab his family to continue up to snowshoe for family vacation. It means a lot that a company and a sales rep will go to such lengths just for a single tire. Thanks Josh, and colony tire of Harrisonburg.”

“My husband and I were on our way from New Jersey to Pigeon Forge when we had a tire pressure error in the car. We filled it with air but knew this was something that needed to be addressed quickly. We found Ray Carr Tires and worked with Colleen. She was so wonderful at accommodating us and went as far as to run to the warehouse to get us four tires for our car. Keep in mind this was 4:30 in the afternoon and they closed at five. The tires were replaced and we were on our way... Colleen had been through a challenge while traveling and she vowed to help others as much as possible. We couldn't have been more grateful for her support and allowing us to get back on the road so we can make it to our next destination. Thank you Colleen!!”

“I found this shop after I got an old ford truck that needed some work on the wiring and also needed disc brakes. After checking around and looking at reviews I gave them a call. After chatting with the owner, I felt very comfortable about taking my truck to them. Upon arrival, all people were very nice. My truck was completely rewired front to back (they did a beautiful job) and also had a front disc brake set put on. My truck was at the shop for a long time but to be fair, the shop has gone through some major changes recently. The owners wife ended up with a broken ankle and had to be home along with the owner for a while so he could tend to her. Not too much longer later, the owner (John) ended up passing away. John was the driving force behind the shop. After his passing, the guys and Johns wife, who is extremely sweet and very nice, had to pick up the pieces and keep the shop moving forward. After getting my truck back from the shop the first time, the brakes were not quite right and I ended up taking the truck back to them. Bear in mind that the disc brakes put on the truck were not a kit per se so that complicated the process somewhat. Long story short, after some screwing around the truck is now back in my garage and the guys at the shop have been nothing short of supportive and have been patient and understanding and most helpful with getting my truck back on the road. I am already making future preparations to take my truck back to them to have a new front end put in. I fully trust them and would not want anyone else doing work on my truck. I have been working extensively with Nick. He is very knowledgeable and a great guy overall. I absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality work. Great people and a great business to deal with. My highest praise!”

“While traveling through, we only needed a patch on a leaky tire, but the big tire shop was going to be a long wait. We found Gilcar and ask if they could do it. Took our car in right away. After removing the tire he could see that it had major wear and that we needed a new tire. But he did not sell new tires, nor did he try to sell us a used one. In fact he did not charge us anything. We gave him something for taking the time to check it out. Very nice and helpful.”

“As a restorer/ owner of a 50-year-old Buick passing through the Harrisonburg area, I had a particular concern finding the right mechanic when my car needed service beyond my roadside capability. After many phone calls and referrals, I reached Rodriguez Auto Services thanks to a recommendation from a mechanic who had worked with Luis Rodriguez years before. I found Mr. Rodriguez to be a knowledgeable and experienced auto mechanic and technician, a fine person, and together with his lovely wife the proprietors of an honest family business that makes Harrisonburg the kind of place one remembers fondly. Most importantly, the diagnosis was correct and repairs were effective to get me 750 miles back home later that week.
Even if circumstances aren't quite so extreme as mine, I highly recommend Rodriguez Auto Services, Inc. to anyone in need! I saw a few negative reviews on yelp from people mad they missed a chance to do business. Hate it for them.”
“I took my Acura 2002 MDX truck their to get my rack and pinion replaced and not only did they do a excellent job, they replaced a oil drain plug that they noticed was bad they went above and beyond the call of duty and did several other things that wasn't on the work order. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for auit repairs.”
