“I love this place, the staff is amazing starting with the door man who is more than helpful, Miss Ameshia at the front desk who was also helpful and made excellent recommendations that assisted with my stay for the weekend. I also bumped into the big boss Miss Gayle who was great! Everyone was very welcoming, helpful and made great recommendations of the surrounding area that is filled with everything that is needed for business or pleasure! The rooms were very clean and affordable. Great location with many attractions within walking distance or a short drive.Rooms: Rooms were clean and affordable l! We stayed in a room that had the fountain view which was nice.Nearby activities: District 41 Sports BarSate KitchenHiyashi (Sushi)Salsas (Mexican)Juicing LIFE Bar & CafeMr. Boil Cajun Seafood & Poke BowlSteak & TonicSafety: Appears to be in a good part of town, very upscale and safe! Many surrounding businesses, bars, shopping and restaurants.Walkability: Many attractions within walking distance. A good morning walk near the water fountain was refreshing paired with a protein shake from the Juice Bar located very close to the hotel.Food & drinks: The food and drinks at the lobby bar were fairly portioned and fairly priced. The bartender was great and there are many locations in the very near surrounding areas that you can walk to or short drive. District 41 Sports Bar was our favorite.Noteworthy details: The staff is excellent!”

“I was recently a guest at The Holiday Inn Newport News- Hampton (1/4/24-->1/6/24).  Upon my arrival, I was checked-in by front desk agent; Ed.  He was extremely kind & welcoming...a class act!  His professionalism set the tone for a superb stay.   Give this man a raise!  The hotel was both elegant and clean, & my bed was beyond comfortable.  I was checked-out by Tamika, who was also kind & efficient.  My visit to Virginia was for the purpose of attending an event at The Ferguson Center.  I'm pleased to have selected such an outstanding hotel.  Many thanks!  Whenever I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.”

“Clean room very convenient to hampton Coliseum. There are some negative reviews about this hotel. We had no issues at all. I left a concert t shirt at the hotel and got with staff, and they gladly found it and returned to me by shipping. The location was a bit difficult to get into with the Walmart driveway at the hotel entrance.”

“It's actually better than it looks . Very accommodating , friendly, and the location was perfect for what I needed it for. They have a laundry area where the office is as well. Resteraunts and Walmart close by.”
