She has a positive attitude and if she does not have an answer to the question she will find out and let you know. The hotel is not the newest but the accommodations were amazingly close to the beach and the dog park was much appreciated for my service animal.”

“This hotel was clean and mid-scale luxury. Rooms are large and clean bathrooms had Evelyn and Crabtree toiletries just in case you left yours behind. I love how they give out the freshly baked chocolate chip ?. Nice touch. The staff are great! Kind and took care of all our needs. Our company was there on business and had our dinner catered by the hotel. The hotel did a fabulous job. The roasted chicken was divine, and tender with a honey taste to it. We also had beef with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Everything was exquisite ?. Even the iced tea was amazing I was able to drink it straight without sugar. Great job DT! “Friendly staff, clean building - grounds - rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of amenities, two separate small dog areas on property and a half mile from a dog park - just in case your pet needs to get some energy out. Highly recommend the Navy Lodge Norfolk! Also, say hi to Miss D if you get a chance. She was wonderful and helpful to our family! “Came here for a Friday evening stay with my wife, daughter and her infant. We liked how the room was recently renovated and clean. While the double-bed mattresses also appeared new-ish, they were basic/marble-slab firm - fine if your back needs that, but not comfortable enough for us side sleepers. Although no breakfast is offered, fresh drip-brewed coffee is provided in the lobby. There is also a good restaurant for dinner right next door: Capt Groovy.”

This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you choose this place you won't regret it.Well I booked a room for two nights. Unfortunately when I arrived the power had been down for 4 hrs so I was unable to check in. After waiting, the manager was kind enough to request my name and reservation number and cancel without penalty once the power gets restored. Thank you so much for this great experience!”
