I was filling up my tires when a pin came out in one of them, and it started rapidly deflating. A minute later I was rolling into the Modern Automotive parking lot on the rim.The folks there saw me pull my one-year-old out and got to work diagnosing the issue while letting me know my options. “We went to M&M on a recommendation from our son in law. We have an older model Toyota with a little over 100k miles. It has been well maintained and we want to keep it that way. We asked M&M to do a trip check- belts and hoses, fluids, a good overall check up. They were thorough, professional and very pleasant.While there for pick up, another customer was questioning something about his charges. The fellow waiting on us spoke up and said that he may have given partial information to the spouse of the customer and apologized for the confusion. That honesty and ownership is important!! “Don't go to the shops in town. These great gentlemen helped properly diagnose what I was originally told was a cracked intake manifold, as a bad coil. A $1000 repair really only $100, couldn't be happier and more relieved. Shops in town will fork it over and find other things wrong, let real mechanics do their job and get your work done here.”

“I was 350 miles from home on a rainy Sunday afternoon near Blacksburg when car troubles began. I managed to limp my car to The Bug Shop early the following day. Greg quickly diagnosed the problem, had the parts delivered overnight and the car repaired by the following afternoon. The folks at the shop (Jason, Greg, and others) did everything possible to get me back on the road as quickly as they could. “Came in originally for an alignment ended up needing a steering idle arm and a steering Pitman arm with no hesitation they had the parts brought down, same day installed, and did the alignment all within a couple hours. Amazing service. Highly recommend. Also they have the cheapest alignments around in Blacksburg and christiansburg I called every other place. Trust me.”

“Corresponded via email, text, phone and call... to be told that they had marked the car down from $38,000 to the current $29,997, and that this was the best in the market. No negotiating, even though I am willing to drive 3 hours to make the purchase and had my own financing in hand ready to sign. Not to mention it has been on the lot since November, and has a clutch disk pictured in the trunk. Not friendly and not willing to work, at all, as there is no 'e-price'.UPDATE: Received a call back later this same evening, willing to negotiate. Went the next day and purchased the vehicle. Thank you Ty and Terrance for your wonderful customer service and friendliness. I will add that I was directly asked by the sales manager regarding my review, at my visit.”
