“When it comes to shopping, I enjoy an in-person experience. There was an online sale going on, and to save on shipping, I sent the boots I ordered to the store! To my surprise, I ended up staying a lot longer than I expected lolWide width shoes that are still fashionable are hard to come by but Torrid has a lot of cute options. I bought a bunch for a recent vacation and they all fit perfectly. During this visit, I was able to try the boots on just in case. I had the option to reorder a different size if it didn't work out. But they were all good to go! The clearance rack in the back caught my eye so I got to browsing lol. There was an extra percentage they were taking off items that were already on sale so my cart grew bigger and bigger. Everyone who helped me was so nice. They were patient. I took my time to make sure everything looked right. I ended up buying a whole new outfit and some accessories. I didn't spend a lot of money either! I remember the satin pants price being reduced to $10 and a set of rings came down to $2. Came home with a whole page of coupons with really good deals. I left feeling happy. Retail therapy hasn't felt this good in a while but Torrid did the job and did it well (It was honestly better than any of the Black Friday deals I was seeing around... oop)”

“After checking out Naval Station Norfolk, my boyfriend and I checked out the Norfolk Main Navy Exchange (NEX). If you've never been, it's like a department store! They sell everything from clothing and accessories (including hats, scarves, jewelry, handbags), electronics, cookware, seasonal decorations (including christmas trees and nutcrackers), and more. My boyfriend was in search of a beanie while I was in search of a cool-looking Navy shirt. We found a nice beanie but not a cool-looking Navy shirt. However, I'll admit that the Hard Rock Cafe Navy hat was kind of cool!”

“The store was clean. The staff were pleasant. The dressing room were surprisingly well maintained. Overall, this was a great shopping trip. I found a few things that I loved immediately to add to my wardrobe. Ross for the win!?”
“Had an issue where I was double charged an item. A whopping $50 extra added to the bill. A lot of stuff happened in the week that these items were purchased and i didn't notice it until I got home(I live out of state) I called may 7th and the items were purchased April 29th. I spoke to Ashley and she was able to get the issue resolved while we were on the phone. She was very apologetic, which I think it was my fault not to check right away, but she took care of it right away. Great customer service from Ashley.”

“Boutiques... Must I say more. Sooooo, love them.... In town and by happenstance saw clothing in the display window so of course I had to stop in. The two women who were working and I think were the owners of the boutique were avant stylish, especially for this area which fashion forward isn't the 1st thing you may think of given its other memorable traits. Beautiful clothing as well as jewelry with a small smattering of shoes adorned the space. Seasonal wear from 3/4 - long sleeve sheets, sweaters, jackets, parkas, jeans, skirts and all are fashion forward. Nothing is cookie cutter here. Edgy, original, colorful, demur and eclectic. There is also a chic bohemian style to many of their pieces with notable authentically designed necklaces that can accentuate any contemporary or free spirit design. Whenever in town again, NYFO will see me again..”

I came in here a few months ago right before an interview to find a nice shirt and her and another employee there went out of their way to help me find the right shirt! This wasn't my first time encountering a great experience there with the same manager! She always go above and beyond. Definitely shop here if you'd like great advice while shopping! They also have a great selection of clothes.”
