“For a quick run through for fruits, veggies and pork products Save A Lot is okay. I don't get there much but need to get a quick walk through and soon. It's a hit or miss if you like labels. I have certain brands that I use and their brand Supply is limited. From time to time they will have Jimmy Dean bacon in different flavors but I don't want any check to see what their sales are. It's okay if you don't want to deal with a line and you just need one or two things.”

“The working experience was amazing with friendly and understanding management that treated me like family. Honestly miss working there but careers move on. The shopping experience is a nice grab and go with a small community building itself with regular customers. The gripes I have actually are towards the actual heads of the company for not providing workers and management resources they request. Support your local dollar tree. Be nice to the workers and please donate to operation homefront when it comes around.”

“I can't say I love Big Lots, but every once in awhile you do find a bargain there. I already put up 9 trees and this Christmas season took a look in Big Lots for more decorations. I found instead this pair of 44 inch flocked trees in little square pots with white lights already on them, $35 for the pair. I know my prices and that is cheap. I've seen tiny tabletop flocked ones for $20 each in other stores, so I grabbed these. The cashier told me I could get an additional 10% off for signing up for a discount card (not a credit card) and I did. This store seems well stocked, clean and the people who work there seem nice and helpful. I do think some of their items are overpriced, but it's worth it to browse and maybe find a great bargain.”

“The young lady, Erica, that was at the checkout was extremely sweet. I've never been to any Family Dollar and been treated with so much respect ever. She was very kind, well mannered, friendly and most importantly in customer service she greeted me and smiled the entire time. She had such a positive energy and I absolutely loved it. They need more and more associates like her at these Family Dollar stores. She needs to be there all the time. She actually made me want to shop more to give the business because she was so nice. I just didn't have the time to continue. Give her a raise and more hours. She deserves it. People like her need to be recognized and sometimes are not. “Extremely messy. Shelves are dang near empty. Not surprising really, considering the pandemic. I was looking for a pair of men's sweat pants but couldn't find it. Where the men's clothes were supposed to be, toddler clothes were there. Maybe they were in the middle of moving their setup or something..? Dunno. Be prepared to have some time to be able to adventure throughout the store to find what you're looking for.”

“I went to pick up a few things and I had a very pleasant experience in dollar general. What I really liked was when I couldn't find an item and asked the associate where the item was. She took the time to show me instead of telling me where it was. Sometimes it's hard to find an item especially when you leave your eye glasses at home by mistake. So it's excellent when you are shown instead of being pointed in the right direction.”
