The owner came to my house during the day and then back another day in the evening to compare lighting under different conditions. She picked a palette of colors that I would never have chosen for myself, but decided that I would go with them because she is a professional. Wow! I am so amazed at the changes in my house! “The Preservation Station is an adorable little shop in the heart of Occoquan. It is the perfect place to find a gift for that hard-to-buy for person in your life. I left with an antique box to keep all my recipes in at home and it's a great addition to my decor. I could have spent hours looking at all of the cool knick-knacks and kitchen supplies but had to limit myself...otherwise I would have bought the whole shop!
