“Drove down the lake to get gas, was able to pull right up and pump and pay no problem.Took a few minutes to go to the shop with my wife and daughter, had a great assortment of things if you're staying a night or two, plus hand dipped ice cream! Also saw they sell live minnows if you're fishing on the lake.While I was checking things out I dropped my credit card. I looked but didn't see it. I notified the staff, and left. Came in a few days later and they remembered me, they said they found it right after I walked out and tried to chase me down, but we had already left. Very kind folks, and honest enough to hold on to my credit card for me.Next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to stop by again, and will definitely get some ice cream.”

“This particular Food Lion is in Pulaski Va an area that I do not venture to very much!! Not that there is anything wrong with Pulaski Va or the Food Lion there I just personally prefer to shop at the Food Lion(s) closer to my apartment! But if you ever find yourself in Pulaski Va and need a grocery store you definitely should go to Food Lion. It’s a clean well kept and well stocked store and the people are friendly and helpful! And it’s A LOT cheaper than its counterpart right across the street the ginormous Food City. ?. Although if it were me…? I’d definitely want to spend less and go to Food Lion!! ?”

“Love the hotdogs & hamburgers (has grill w/ choices). Offers a gambling/entertainment room & of course all the other usuals you'd find at a gas station/convenient store.”

Went this morning first thing as soon as they opened for something I wanted and felt I needed. I was worried about how the experience was going to go. When I got there I seen the nice older gentlemen was opening the store this morning. Made me feel very welcomed, like more than just another customer. And because of him, and a few of the younger workers 30ish and under, I've decided to turn my 1 start review into 4. Thank you to those of you who make me feel welcomed, who don't try to give me and my kids a hard time about technicalities, and to you who makes a bad day seem a little less tough. I appreciate you.

Sent my son for a few things. They said EBT doesn't cover fountain drinks. At least offered to pay for it but that has never been accurate before. There is a certain way to ring up fountain drinks on EBT. Everyone knows it.

I came in today at 8:06 am they claimed they were completely out of breakfast.

Oct 17 2024 around 5am - negative experience this morning with the manager with long brown hair. Rude and interrupted me when I tried lightening up the mood after having technical issues with the payment due to phone glitching. I wanted to use a coupon and everything, while I was getting it ready she said "ARE YOU READY YET?", I told her I was getting a coupon and using my phone for payment. I always have bad experiences here in the mornings. They should clean house and only keep about five of them that I know are always nice and going above and beyond. The ones I've mentioned in here today and in the past, have consistently always been rude. The older short woman with long hair, I've had very bad experiences with her that had me leaving in tears about a year or more ago AND I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN OVER IT, AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE ABLE TO FORGET IT. But that's fine, everyone knows what comes around goes around.

Why does it say they're open til 10 when they clearly aren't. Also, I thought they stayed open an hour later in the warmer months and closed earlier in the winter months. Apparently they don't want the extra business. This is not towards the nice workers who work here. But whoever is over the business hours, unless there isnt anyone they can get to work which would be a simple fix with time by finding someone, then I don't see why they don't stay open a little later.”

“Other than not having any kind of suitable tray for packaging to put more than one donut in. The store was clean, well lit, and people all around that were working at the store. Only one office type staff saw me struggling w donuts and offered to help to try and find a package to put Donuts in.”

“This store has always been clean and customer friendly as you can find what your looking for exactly where you think it should be. Great service as well, with a smile and a "HAVE A GOOD DAY" as you're going out the door.”
