“Love this DG because they are always so organized all the time here. Its clean, (ALWAYS). They also have a clothing section for men & women. Also seems like this DG store gets all the NEW inventory faster then any other DG around like oakwood DG, or Vansant DG . All around a great place & friendly.”
“Food Lion is close to my home. They have more BOGO deals than the other markets. There app is great. Notifies you of the upcoming deals in all departments and how much savings you will incur so you can budget well. The cashiers are friendly and the store is very clean. The deli selections are limited. The meat selections are great. Produce is always fresh. The bakery selections are vast. I visit Food City almost every day.”
“Delicious fresh baked, sliced, Sourdough bread and pickled corn and vintage style candies!! Also frozen food section with delicious large portion size chicken, etc.”
“Food City has the best meat both quality and prices. I also like the deli for its wide variety of cold cuts and cheeses. And let’s not forget the daily menu variety of prepared food fresh to eat in or take home every day the other markets do not offer. At checkout gas savings appear on your bill and with this economy any savings is helpful. The only issue is the Food City gas station is quite a ways away from the market location”
“Moved to the areas just over a year ago and have been here a handful of times. Every time has not disappointed me. The price for things for the most part beat other stores. You can find things there that most others dont have. There staff are always very nice. The store is always well stocked and clean. There building, technology, and look is a bit inundated but thats is so small who cares.”

“Went in to grab a couple of things and their system was past the point of not cooperating… a line started to form and I just have to say how impressed I was with the two women working. They handled all of us customers professionally, kindly and efficiently! Shout out to DJ and Tabitha!!! They deserve raises- I was very impressed. I could have been easily frustrated by waiting for a bit, but I left extremely satisfied! I will definitely be stopping at this location more often !”
“I’m glad the store is getting a remodel but I, and I’m sure I’m not alone, think the isles in HBA are wayyy too tight/narrow. Two people with buggy’s…. not gonna happen! It’s hard & aggravating enough just for two people to pass each other just walking opposite ways.”
