About Banfield Pet Hospital
Banfield Pet Hospital in Reston offers attentive and quality health care for dogs, cats, and small animals. With a commitment to promoting responsible pet ownership, the facility provides a range of services, including routine vaccinations, microchipping, dental care, and surgical procedures. Many customers appreciate the friendly and caring nature of the veterinarians and staff, who often know pets by name and provide personalized attention.
The hospital has a convenient online scheduling system, making it easier for pet owners to manage appointments and medical records. However, some reviews highlight challenges, such as the strict appointment policies, where arriving even slightly late can result in cancellations. Additionally, there are concerns about the clarity of insurance coverage details and the lengthy wait times for phone inquiries.
While Banfield is considered expensive, pet insurance can help offset costs for regular checkups. Customers have noted that appointments may take longer than expected, particularly for drop-off services. Despite these issues, many clients express satisfaction with the care their pets receive, often remarking on the hospital's dedication to their furry family members and the overall quality of service provided.

First day with the new computer program. Very organized, well staffed, warm and caring staff.
Our pup received a dental today. Great communication by Dr. K. Frake and vet tech. No problems. Smooth experience all around!
