“This Barnes & Nobles is the greatest! Always clean & be early to find a good seat.
Today was hot & the air conditioning was just right”
“A beautiful independent bookstore in NOVA with all the vibes you want as a reader/writer/general book enjoyer. I love the location and how they decorated. The layout allows you to browse different genres at your leisure; the highlighted staff picks they had were especially fun to check out. And everyone was so friendly! I look forward to returning.”
“This place is smaller than other Barnes and noble, but has good atmosphere and I always end up finding something to buy from here. They have a good selection of books.”
“It is the largest bookstore chain in the USA.
It has very good content of collectible subs, a great content of literature, magazines and comics.

“The ladies in the store were so pleasant and helpful when I took my daughter to find a First Communion dress, veil, etc. They took her measurements to make sure the dress fit properly and even allowed her to go into the back area so she could see what the dress looked like on her.We live in Columbia, MD, but it was absolutely worth the drive to Fairfax. I plan on making return trips in the future. Truly a hidden gem! Cannot say enough good things about our experience there.”
“I published my first illustrated book, For the Love of Laxmi with Mascot Books, on February 1, 2022. We started working together on the book in June 2021 - I had already worked with an illustrator to get the designs done on my own, so I didn't end up using their design services, so I cannot entirely comment on that. I worked with Mascot on their publishing, distribution, and marketing options, and I admire them and their work. This was my first book ever, so I had a lot of anxiety about timing, quality, and ensuring we would have a good go-to-market strategy. I initially micromanaged with a million questions, which their team handled so gracefully. I do wish their team provided frequent communications and more face to face/zoom time to help reassure, but outside of that, they were always on top of things behind the scene - the book quality was stunning, the distribution was outstanding, and truly resulted in a great first release. I can't wait to work with them on the other project.”
“A lot like the Woodbridge store, but that one closed so I'm here, lots of yoys, action figures, plushies, DVDs and books.
Staff were friendly and helpful.”
“The store had the sweatshirt we were looking for along with so much more. Will be using them again if we need another article from their store. The delivery was quick and the product fit.”
“Well stocked college bookstore with a great variety of items related to notes, academic supplies, books, and attached cafe. And, hey, a nice place for reasonably priced specialty NVCC clothing items to source a special local-themed gift.”
“I’ve been in the store several times but hadn’t met the sales person Rami (I hope I’m spelling that correctly). Rami made the experience so wonderful. He was so kind, so helpful, friendly and personable. We made our purchases and thanked Remi so much for his help and then later on in the day, I realized I lost my glasses, ran back to the store, and Rami came up to me and handed them to me like he knew I was coming back for them. He is just awesome. I can’t say enough good things about him, I hope he’s recognized for all the good work he does and how good he is with customers. I tried to call the store directly, but it was transferred to corporate so I was unable to tell the manager how lovely Rami was, but I hope they see the review and realize how lucky they are to have such a wonderful person working for them.”
“Friendly service and a place to get last minute items including newspapers. Has oral products and devices, over the counter medicine and usual food products and drinks.”
“Okay, so I had a hard time finding this place. For those of you who are new to Loudon, it's in the basement of the LR building. It was super easy to find my textbooks here. The cashiers/staff are all so friendly, and they'll help you find everything you need. Returns are super easy too. Just make sure you keep your receipt!”
“Visiting Scrawl Books was a treat. This independent bookstore is conveniently located in Reston Town Center with plenty of parking and options to get lunch nearby—everything you need to browse for hours! Absolutely loved browsing the local author selection and can’t wait to return for more.”
