“Orangetheory Reston is amazing! All of the coaches are so friendly, supportive, and encouraging! It's the only time in my life I've actually enjoyed going to the gym and working out!”

“Highly recommend Epic. Found this gym when Gold's gym (without notice) closed on us. Have been training with Joe ever since. Very professional and flexible. Great quality in equipment and reasonably priced. My wife has also joined and she also only has great things to say. Wished we had found Epic Athletic Center sooner.”

“This gym got recommended to me by a friend. Right from the first appointment, I was greeted by Gloria who is always so super kind and makes you feel welcome. I have to admit, I was nervous for my session but my trainer Joel was the most professional trainer I have ever worked with. Very knowledgeable about the human body and would never do anything to cause injury. In fact, he had millions of methods to train so nothing would seem repetitive. I’ve been recommending this gym to everyone. I’ve been going for about 3 years now and I’ll never stop going. Highly recommend!”

“This is a nice club with a few issues. My chief complaint is that they recently switched to using EverWipe towelettes to be used for wiping down equipment after use. These towelettes run out of moisture before a machine is even half wiped down. They should go back to the former brand they used if they are concerned about keeping the equipment sanitized. The other comment is that some handles in their weight machines are worn out and need replacing. In the positive side the staff is very friendly and there is a decent assortment of exercise equipment.”

“The managers and community are extremely welcoming! As a woman, I was nervous at first to start UFC, but the professional boxer, Goga, provides amazing insight and makes sure that I feel comfortable first and foremost. Highly, highly recommend coming to this gym if you are on the fence of trying martial arts!”

“Joined about 3 months ago as I was/am in the process of strengthening my knees and working on a hamstring issue that is slowly going away, and I have to say Lifetime Reston's many structured classes have been a big help, especially GTX and Ultra Fit with Courtney/Jessica and Edge and Amp cycling classes with Ellie and Stephanie. My knees are feeling much stronger and I'm very happy about that. The cold table in the recovery area has been very helpful for the hamstring issue. Mostly I like that everyday there is a good reason for me to go to Lifetime and I feel so great after! Gotta love those natural endorphins.Only one thing is problematic, and this may be more of a human nature issue. Lifetime Reston's pickleball program is awesome. I did the beginner class and then started playing beginner open play. OK - about 75% of the players playing in beginner are not beginners, they are intermediate or above. This wouldn't be so bad, but some of them are very rude about it when they have to play with an actual beginner. In fact, at least 2 beginners I know have switched to Fairfax for pickleball, because it seems at Fairfax, the beginner open play really is beginners. What to do? I suggest a big sign over the paddle holder:"INTERMEDIATE PLAYERS - BE POLITE - YOU WERE ONCE A BEGINNER, TOO" It's funny, too because the intermediate (and above) players playing during Beginner open play are probably just trying to avoid feeling like they don't play very well, which is what would happen if they played with the Intermediates. Also, just want to say hats off to the Ops personnel for keeping the facility clean and nice smelling.”

“Gym is overall a great atmosphere. Awesome machines you don't see in many commercial gyms and plenty of space. Towel service is a plus. The only downsides are limited cable machines such as leg extensions and leg Curls, only one of each leading to lines to use during busy times, and lack of 2.5 lb plates even though they have an entire room dedicated to Olympic lifts. I would definitely recommend this gym over any other in the area but there is room for improvement.”
