Do not use their travel 'services'. They do not price match as advertised, they give the booking to an outside agency and on my $2700 trip (hotel & airfare & what I would have paid if I'd booked it myself), they charged me $3,500 and would not let me cancel without severe penalties. They are not a service, but sales agents marking up services. Every single online agency was at least $600 cheaper. I never imagined I would be ripped off by AAA.

On the surface, it looked like a great place to service my auto... WRONG! Apparently, there are no skilled mechanics willing to work there, with an idiot running the place. They can't solve basic math problems. They refuse to follow redundancy protocol ( check a dipstick ) or perform basic auto mechanical logic... They are there to sell overpriced, unnecessary part replacement & charge unsuspecting people exorbitantly for simpleton service.

Suzanne Sauve-Smith was superb in helping us plan a vacation to the Oregon Coast. She had a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness to put us at ease right away. She very efficiently helped us make hotel reservations by pulling up the excellent AAA database to see our options. She also quickly made phone calls when we needed more information. We never felt rushed to make decisions; only well served by her knowledge and supportive listening. In sum, we were delighted with both Suzanne and AAA and have been recommending them to all our friends!

Went to have my oil changed and they checked everything else. I know I need tires and windshield wipers and it was checked off that my wipers were fine, but they're not even fine at all,(justwaitingforpayday to buy new ones), they're ripped and broken... so why did they state that they're fine? Obviously they never checked them but stated they did. Not good at all! Makes me unhappy that I can't even trust AAA Car Care. They're the ones I trust the most, but not now. To top everything off my car at certain times starts bucking and is very sluggish while driving and it was totally fine before I brought my car in to AAA Car Care at Glenside Drive in Virginia. People have a tendency to take advantage of "women" with their car issues and I feel like I've just been taken advantage of. Why all of a sudden is my car acting up when it has been running perfectly fine. I just needed an oil change and now I have other car problems to worry about suddenly. Very upset customer who is tired of bringing my car into a service station for routine car and leaving with added problems that all of a sudden happen overnight. I've been through hell with a 2 other cars that I had and those places serviced your car and then caused something to go wrong with the car so that you bring it back again for more untimely service resulting in more money to dish out while they pocket the money for a low repair volume quota. I'm not saying that they did that, I don't know...but many places do do just that. Maybe something was hit loose or knocked out or off...I just want my car fixed. (You can see that my 2 wipers are torn, as shown in the photos, so how is that overlooked?)

We've been to AAA Car Care before for minor maintenance issues: inspections, battery, etc and they did a good job.
A few weeks ago, our car was having difficulty starting, so we went to AAA to find source of the problem. The diagnosis: a new alternator. $650+
The next day, we were driving to the grocery store when our car shut down entirely, leaving us stranded on a busy highway. We called AAA for a tow to their Car Care Center. Four days and ANOTHER $350+ they finally declared they could not fix it.
We had it towed to the dealership and finally repaired.
So $1000 and two replacement parts later (and the car wouldn't even start) tell me that beyond the basics, AAA Car Care is not up to the challenge.

Stopped in to get an International License for Japan trip. Met by Trayvon Harvey. This man could not have been more helpful. His manner of trying to sell me on some extras was very professional and not pushy. I did not upgrade at this time, but if we do it will be because of Mr. Harvey and his professionalism.

I’ve been a AAA member 9 years and recently moved to the area. I went to this store for the first time to ask about a promotion sent by AAA and buy luggage for an upcoming trip. When I asked the worker a question about the AAA promotion, she told me they wouldn’t help me but I could drive to a Williamsburg store for help. I left without getting anything. Disappointed in their service toward members new here, especially after being with AAA for so long.

There are a lot of mechanics in town but I've been coming to this branch specifically because service and professionalism (which I experienced with car inspections, car service, tires, international drivers permits, etc.) is very good. Today's was just so-so. Megan's demeanor didn't appear in line of what I expect from this branch, or any other service sector employee for that matter. Car service was fine but soon after I left and put my wipers on to remove some pollen I realized they didn't refill my wiper fluid.

Had no idea this place was even here! They offer international driving permits - super simple process. One snag was that their photo machine was down, but I appreciated that they knew to recommend a CVS just down the street.

Absolutely the most wonderful group of people to deal with even in my unfortunate situation. They went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasant one,constantly keeping us informed of our cars status. I take my hat off to Pamela Saintsing Jamerson and her professionalism.She should be teaching classes on customer service.And for Thomas the tech I can only say thank you my friend for solving my issue.
