“Incredible array of antiques, so many interesting treasures and gems. Definitely a place you could spend hours browsing. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and their cat Daisy is lovely and very respectful of the antiques. Perfect place to take an hour or two and discover a beautiful treasure to add to your home!”
“I went to Benjamin French Lighting Reimagined and the owner was so nice and professional! He fixed my lamp that I love. It's like new again! I really appreciate that there is a place in Richmond that fixes all kinds of lamps! Great business!”
“Classy for sure! No trash, all eclectic pieces and useful purchases. Need a screen door, 60's retro couch, desk and chair from the 70's and a surprise around every corner! All really cool ? items. Got to see, to believe!!”
“This is my absolute favorite place to shop in all of Richmond! There are so many talented local artists that sell their goods in this shop. There is also an excellent mix of vintage and antique items. I could literally spend two hours in this shop just browsing. The owner, Anne, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Nanette, who also works there, is so kind and welcoming every time I visit. What Anne has done to support the local art community, is so commendable. You can tell she truly cares about every artist that is in her shop.”
“Modern 804 is an experience of the Mid Century Modern Style …That is a way of life…..sleek with clean lines and tapered geometric forms…and rounded organic edges. That focused on Functionality with the art bringing chaos! When people come into the store I hear so many people saying “oh my mom had that or my Dad had that.. it brings back memories of their past life ! And because of that they search the store for the right table or credenza or painting that will embellish their home. To continue the movement in that Interior Design Style..But don’t forget the Vintage Clothing and Jewelry…WOW Modern 804 is a destination! Don’t miss it!”
“This place is fantastic! They have a great selection of household decorative items and jewelry. But the best part about the place is the quality of customer service and kind, attentive people. It’s a pleasure to shop here.I check them out many times a week to see what great new items they got in.The workmanship of Billy the jeweler is terrific and he is very helpful to guide you on items you may be considering selling in the store. The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. I consign here as well and enjoy great success selling my items.I highly recommend this store!”
“I just want to say that I will refer any and every one to Golden Goat Pawn Shop, especially the one on Chamberlayne Avenue. I have been a customer with them for years and hands down they have exceptional customer service and very knowledgeable and courteous with assistance. I have always found great items and service. Check them out, they have everything.”
“Small but mighty. I adore this shop! I love design, especially mixing old and new and Sheppard street is my favorite shop in Richmond. Quality treasures at reasonable prices. I just love this place!”
“I've been shopping with Kim for 20+ years. She is absolutely the real deal when it comes to antiques. She sources directly from Europe and finds pieces filled with personality and character. And she truly has the best selection I've ever seen ... there's something for everyone, whether your style is classic or contemporary.”
“What a lovely little place for gifts and furniture. Very classy and a nice selection of high-end gifts. There’s a cafe inside but it was too busy to try, so it must be tasty.”
“Knowledgeable owner and a nice selection. I was asking about Lane MCM dressers and he knew that there weren’t many made in the style I liked, so they less frequently surface.”
“Janet Morris has an amazing eye for unique mid-century art and furniture. This is a massive space, so she’s able to offer large scale items here. Of course, there are items that will fit smaller scale contemporary / MCM homes too. The cantilever dining chairs, cubist chandelier, flame stitch sofa, and “Pucci” inspired chairs were just wow!”
“One of my favorite antique homegoods stores in the city, always packed with new inventory in the creatively laid out space located in an easily walkable, parkable, and driveable part of Churchill. Right off Broad street and steps away from great food, beverage, and of course other retail options. If you haven't made it into Tiny Space yet, please make it a priority. Follow them on instagram to see what they have to offer @tinyspace.rva”
“This antique store is massive! I love going to ones where they have individual booths for each sellers collection. There's something here for everyone, furniture, crystals, giant display dinosaurs, etc. you can get lost and spend hours in here looking at everything. Only downside is that most of the items in the booths are overpriced.”

“My husband and I LOVE this place. We go here almost every other weekend looking for fun things to add to our collections. He has gotten some nice, older game consoles and games, and "nerdy" figures, while I have taken home various things from Beanie Babies, to car models, to home decor. Absolutely check this place out if you need to kill a couple hours, or just like collecting fun things!”
“What a fun place! There were SO MANY interesting items, and some BEAUTIFUL antique furniture pieces. Indoor and outdoor with unlimited treasures! Staff was SO NICE!❤️”
“Don’t judge a thing before it’s time. This place is a little rough around the edges but are willing to work with your situation. Once you get past the hard exterior, you will find kindness.”
“Awesome store. So many one of a kind pieces. Bought a cute small patio table and to rattan wicker chairs with cushions. Very reasonable prices and great service.”
“Bradley, at first, seemed rash!! But then we had the opportunity to come into his shop and wow! This man was the kindest, sweetest, most knowledgeable man. I would love to hear his history/story and knowing at his age, he still comes to work and is so sharp!! Please take the time to talk with him and not so quick to judge. He’s a gem!! Thank you Bradley for being you!!”
“Really awesome location. A wide array of oddities and the prices are relatively affordable for the rarity of these items. It really is like walking into a museum with different taxidermy animals and artifacts. They even had items involved in ancient Egyptian burial.”
