Local, small gallery that includes art, live music, drinks, and other events. Very good people to meet and work with. If you're an artist, you should definitely check out the place and their website and see how you can participate. They're very welcoming of new artists and their entry process for submitting art for gallery exhibition themes was easy. Generally, the art vibes are dark, moody, and ethereal. The location is a little off to the side from the main Broad Street area, but still worth to take this "detour," especially on First Fridays.

We went for a jazz event. The attendant clearly knew that someone had taken our reserved table but was scared to approach them to relocate them. We ended up sitting in the back of the room.

What's the difference between a "Board" and a "Community Board?" I notice the Board is 10 white people out of 10, and the Community Board is 2 black people out of 3. For a supposed Jackson Ward institution, this surprises me.

Great space. Great Afrotease show! I would have preferred the music to be a little lower pre -show, so folks could talk and not scream.

Perhaps I'm biased because I enjoyed the Charm Offensive show so much, but, aside from the fantastic live music, the atmosphere feels both garage and stage all at once which constitutes a blend of intimate indie and arena rock vibes that is hard to find elsewhere. Drink selection is solid (I am no expert here but the Starr Hill Roxanne raspberry sour was fruity, not too sour, and enjoyable) and all staff were kind and supportive of the artists. The big surprise for me was how much I also enjoyed their gallery! The selection of train cars in various states was wonderful and wild. I was particularly drawn to those cars which featured different styles of tagging. "Skronk!"

Have only been here for FridayJazz Night. The performances are top class such as one might expect in the better clubs in a major city like Washington, DC. We are so lucky to have these local acts showcased here in Richmond. My only issue is available seating but I don't mind standing for the unbelievable price of $5!!

If the doors open at 8:00pm and the show suppose to start at 9:00pm. Why do your doors, always open late and your Burlesque shows never start on time? (NEVER)The new set-up/layout is horrible! You have 3 VIP tables at the front of the stage and people can't even sit comfortably, because we are sitting tight and trying to squeeze in the space and chairs. It's mad crazy
