Gallery5 is a local, small gallery and venue in Richmond. It includes art, live music, drinks, and other events like First Fridays and dance parties. The space is great, with a vibe that is on point, feeling both garage and stage at once for a blend of intimate indie and arena rock vibes. The atmosphere is dark, moody, and ethereal. Recent stage renovations have made the place feel bigger, better, and more complete. Live music performances are top class, and the venue is very welcoming to new artists with an easy entry process. The gallery features wonderful and wild art, such as a selection of train cars. Drink selection is solid and staff are kind and supportive. While the location is a little off the main area, it is worth the detour. It is one of the best venue galleries in Richmond, offering an unbelievable value.

Took a 2-evening class to make a mask for the Richmond Krampusnacht Walk - what a great place! There's a bar, a stage for shows and lots of room to watch a band (or in my case, create a mask). I highly recommend attending any event hosted here.

Took my daughter to see Shauna Dean Cokeland and had an awesome time. I've loved this place for years. Always fun.
