One stop shop for most of my grocery and household needs. Picked up a couple Home Chef heat and eat meals, but not for me. They have a good amount of gluten free choices, but they just about all have dairy. The bathroom is no longer at the front left of the store it is to the right by the pharmacy. Pretty good cheese selection, but i would like more lactose free(goat cheese or buffalo cheese) options.

A lot of their fruit and produce is constantly covered in mold on the shelves.

Not worth it. Avoid if possible. The people that shop here are rude and awful and the employees are not much better.

Want to shop somewhere with a high number of expired items, expired sales tags, and a customer service that isn’t even open once you drive back to get a refund/replacement? Then shop your Carytown Kroger!

Always check your receipts. This store is notorious for leaving old sale tags up advertising a specific price and then it rarely rings up appropriately. Ask for a manager to address the issue and there's literally not one in the store. The employees are doing their best but clearly management is lacking.

Price gouging WIC items. WIC items are like doube the price per calorie as any other food... coincidence? This type of capitalism is like why do we not just have government food stores? Couldn't be worse than this

I always come to this Kroger and it can be hit or miss sometimes, but today I'm writing a review about my most recent experience. I do grocery pick up sometimes and I was late to my pick up after the 9pm cut off time, but the Asst.Manager, Cassie, was so sweet and went out of her way to still allow me to get my groceries and complete my checkout. Bless her heart!

Best Richmond Kroger. I say hi to everyone who works here and they say hi back. I feel like family when I shop at this Kroger. I’d die for this Kroger tbh.

Declined over time. The physical plant of the store is starting to look old and dingy, especially compared to the Publix just across the street. The layout of items seems a bit chaotic, like they ran out of space and had to pick random spots to add extra things. The staff are stressed, less pleasant and helpful than they used to be. Still has a good selection of items. The pharmacy here is a bit slower than the one on Forest Hill.

This is my third time coming to cash a money order. The first two times were a breeze. This time it was a woman that I’ve never seen and she told me I couldn’t cash my money order because it’s made out to me and that it has to be blank or made to Kroger which doesn’t makes sense. Who is walking around with a blank money order that anyone can cash and how come I was able to cash it the first two times? Of course the manager was “unavailable “ so I called customer service. I think there needs to be some re training. I don’t understand how one person let me do it and the other says it’s against policy.

In my self-checkout station, there were no paper bags. I asked an employee for some. She said they were out. Well, when I was leaving, I noticed that there were paper bags at other checkout stations and at the cash registers. Customer service at Kroger is unacceptable.

Got to the store 5 minutes prior to the suppose to be close time “12 am” and NORMAN stood at the door and told me they were closed because he has to do a store walk. I explained all I needed was one item and knew exactly where it was, he didn’t care proceeded to close the door while I was talking, great customer service. And no this review is not left off emotions as I got what i needed elsewhere. I’ve been to numerous of Kroger’s prior to closing and never had this issue.

Minimum puchase of 5 items to get sale price discriminates against single people with limited income who can't afford to have food go bad. Good pricing should be offered to everyone. Also don't stand behind bad produce which is not an uncommon experience.

This location consistently has issues with order pickups. Regardless of time or day I can expect my order to be missing items, not ready at all, or take well past my scheduled pick up time to complete. You offer this as a convenience but it is a detriment to anyone who uses it.
