Probably the worst grocery store I've ever been to in my 33 years of life. Consistently empty shelves and cart bays. Always tons of carts everywhere getting reshelved that are in your way. A section of the refrigerated goods had the glass broken and had cardboard taped over it for MONTHS. Third world tier stuff whoever runs the store should have been fired a long time ago.

Luckily there are 5-6 other grocery stores in a 5 minute radius including 2 much better Krogers because this store always smells like trash. They jack up all their prices, so make sure you check every couponed item because majority of the time they leave them on the shelf for a week and the item is no longer on sale. I’ve also had to return produce due to mold. Poorly ran store. If I could give zero stars I would, but at least half the employees are very kind and know there’s an issue here. The other half couldn’t care less, they just show up.

Bought some bagels on the 13th and I didnt check the date (which is my fault) but the sell by was the 4th so they sat there for 9 whole days past the sell by.

Although someone reviews have complaints about this location, I actually love going here! The newer employees that I've interacted with are knowledgeable, patient and genuinely care about their jobs. I was shocked at how kind some of these employees were!! Amanda helped me so much with some cuponing issues, and parker and aspen were both very kind and efficient! If you've had a bad experience with employees in the past I'd highly recommend coming back and seeing the improvements for yourself!

I don’t understand the reason for selecting a pickup time for your groceries when they are always not on time. If you select a time that is after 12 pm to pick your groceries up, most of the time it will not be ready!

An adult beverage was purchased at another Kroger store... but it was found to be quite spoiled. Went here since its closer to my house and JENN in customer service said they don't offer refunds/exchanges on purchases from other sister Kroger locations and that I would need to go back to the Kroger store of purchase. She informed me that the return/exchange would hit their bottom line as a loss and that it was against ABC regulations for returns or exchanges. I know personally, for fact, that the vendor would have provided them a credit on the return/replacement- I used to work at Kroger and the alcohol vendors did it all of the time. However, when I asked her directly, she said their bottom line was more important than customer service. I was stuck with a defective product.
But here's some AMAZING customer service.... Kroger, take note! I went to another grocery store that is a competitor of Kroger. and the store manager happened to be checking me out as I was repurchasing the same product, and after hearing my story about their competitor's 'service', he offered a free replacement, as the beer vendor will provide them a credit for the bad product.
Kroger, you can learn so much about customer service from your competitor. As for your bottom line? You saved $12 from your ficticious bottom line, but permanently lost lost my business where I spend more than $400+/month in groceries.
Kroger's bottom line and managers bonus' are more important than you are, as a customer. Think about that as you check out and bag your own groceries next time. You DO have other grocer options where they DO value your business.

Very dirty inside. Unstocked. Self-checkout is always backed up even though they have more lanes, but they keep them closed. Sandy at self-check out is the only good thing about the store!

I’ve never bought so many already expired items at one store. I always double check everything now - expiration dates, bags for rips, sour cream to make sure it’s sealed. The last two pineapples we bought were rotten in the center. I was literally told that the customer service desk is only open when they feel like it because they’re understaffed. Pay extra attention if you shop here to avoid wasting money.

The store has incredible bad customer service and is unorganized. I literally drive 5 minutes down the road to food lion. I don't mind spending extra money for great customer service and cleanliness. The front end associates are rude and unprofessional especially towards people with different nationalities, race and gender. Do not go here unless shopping at a big unkempt convenience store is your thing. It is literally like the real version of Dave Chapelle's Pop Copy skit... IYKYK

It has to be one of the worst Kroger stores in the Richmond area. Poor management and not well kept…

Night shift supervisor/manager Joshua abandoned TWICE helping with check out bags with 4 people behind me waiting in line and left the cashier alone to struggle. This guy is a joke and should not be a supervisor. Kudos to cashier Jeanette who was fantastic and worked her butt off to compensate for his laziness.

The most inconsistent deli department, ever. Don't even bother.
