I've never used UHaul before so I didn't know the process. In my head, the dolly I was renting was inside the truck and the truck was waiting for me with gas in it. None of this happened. I had to walk the dolly out (there was no demonstration on how to use it and wasn't asked if I needed one). The truck was in the back of the area and I had no idea how what I was supposed to be matching my key to. When I found the truck, the back was open for me which was nice but I had to spend 15mins trying to figure out how to unload the ramp and open and close the door. I was told it was on a 1/2 tank of gas, it was less than that (more like a quarter). When I got the truck to the loading location, I couldn't get the back door open! One of the movers (Tony and Lamar from Outside the Box. AMAZING GUYS!) had to open it for me. The move to the unloading location was great, until I had to open the door again (I got nowhere). I had to go buy a mattress and box spring (not planned), so I drove the truck so that I could load it then. When I got my bed, I couldn't open the door. The amazing sales gentleman was able to open it and he and my saleswoman quickly got the beds into the truck. Got to my new place, couldn't open it again, however my next blessing was Jose and Ian (who's job it WAS NOT to help me) helped me by opening the door and taking my beds into my apartment. When I dropped the truck off, there were three women at the drop off equipment lane and they were my next blessings. I nearly cried from exhaustion but they sympathized with everything I had gone through and made a connection with me. I'm almost done! I got home and realized my EZPass was still in the truck, so I called them. I had to call EZPass to get my correspondents number, and the woman and I matched them. I got to UHaul right before they closed and my final blessing was one of the previous women!It was a stressful day but great customer connections can make it so much better and these ladies definitely made my day better!

I have been purchasing boxes and moving equipment for weeks and when i went to return an item (TV packing box) i didn’t have the receipt- despite knowing the date and the credit card charge in hopes they could look up the charge they refused to refund the money. The box was $24. I ended up leaving the box so now they can sell the box again and make even more money. The person at the desk could have cared less. Thanks for nothing—apparently customer service is a thing of the past. I was polite and respectful by the way…not that they care. It is not their money. AND there is nowhere to escalate the issue to.

I do a lot of business with this U-Haul location, and there are always positive vibes.I ran across a small issue with one of the U-Haul trucks which was out of the managers control, and she made it right.

Was in and out in 10 minutes on a Saturday! Staff were helpful and friendly. Easy drop off. Very smooth experience.

I called about mirror boxes and the guy Isiah gave me the sizes and prices over the phone! I get there he said oh i did not tell you about the prices over the phone. Real nasty! Then he tells me my total and i give him my card and add something else to the total and the total increases by $18 more. I asked the guy if he rang up the items on the counter and he said he did. I asked him about the balance he gave and he said no i did not tell you that. If you did not ring up all the items acknowledge that! Instead you tried to make it appear as if i heard you wrong! Just rude and i will be filing a complaint. And ill take my business elsewhere

Manager?? is lacking customer service etiquette , not helpful, no eye contact, we felt like an inconvenience & she mumbled sly remarks about us on several occasions. the original truck provided was not well Maintained it smelt like cigarettes inside the cab and had a broken fuel cap emitting gas fumes and potentially affecting the gas supply as the gauge was significantly lower than indicated on the rental agreement. This location was horrible, would not recommend.

The cab smelled like cigarette smoke. There was a huge dent in the passenger side door that made it hard to close securely. The rear right tire was low on air. They told me the truck would have half a tank of gas in it when I received the keys and to bring it back with half a tank. When I started the truck, there was only a quarter of a tank. I brought it back with over half a tank of gas because I didn't want to be charged for their mistake. Some kind of construction going on in the middle of the parking lot, making it more difficult than usual to navigate.They also called me while I was driving the truck to ask if I was coming to pick up the truck. Moving day rocks.

Had a reservation for 7:30 and chose to be able to pickup through my phone verification. Waited 20 minutes and had the lady tell me she was busy with propane, or whatever she could’ve put off until I got my keys for my truck I reserved.. she got an attitude IMMEDIATELY and I canceled the reservation before she could even help a single customer…. Businesses ran this inefficiently should go out of business… spend your money elsewhere if you value your time and service.

I rented a trailer to tow a few things of my sons who is moving to Florida. I already have a tow hitch, this is more than adequate of a vehicle: hemi Jeep grand Cherokee. By South Carolina the electrical system started shorting out on my vehicle, check engine light came on, having NEVER had any issues and regularly maintain upkeep. Upon inspection I can see the wires are frayed and taking the plug in for the hitch out there is goo forming on the wires. Don't they have people who inspect equipment before renting? This is going to cost way more than the rental to fix.....

Fire everyone who works with customers. They are terribly rude and actually seem to enjoy screaming at you when they overcharge you $125 in gas fee.I don't have any major problems with U-Haul, but if you want to hate U-haul, just do business at this location once.

Unprofessional attitude. Did not get a receipt. No drop box for keys nobody outside of collect returned trucks. Bathroom is locked and out of order.

This review is for the storage side. I had a unit here for years and it was adequate (just barely), but in the past 6 months things have gotten steadily worse. The card reader to gain access has always been a problem. There are only ever two carts and one has been broken for months. There has been multiple large piles of trash dotting the premises, some that smell of human waste. The loading dock has been out of order for WEEKS. This is what caused me to finally move out. Without the loading dock you have to deal with a narrow door and an additional set of stairs to move in/out. It just feels like there is no one at the helm and if there is, they do not care about the basics.

I have used this location for almost ten years and the employees have treated me super well, and are helpful with both moving trucks, self-service, and storage unit help.Recommendations:- reserve a truck online two weeks before move-in date-try self service for faster renting, and less time in line with other customers/ allowing more employees to help out around the grounds-try to get a storage unit on any floor that isn’t the found floor. The cheaper the unit, the easier your stuff will gain must smell from the ground floor etc.-pay your bills on time, or call in if you can’t pay your bills. They are understanding.-treat others the way you want to be treated. Your money means nothing especially if you’re an a**
