“We been banking at this branch ever since it used be the Bank of America(20 plus years). we have experienced nothing but excellent service.
We have multiple business checking accounts elsewhere in the area with the different bank but they are no where near the first community bank service for sure. They are always smiling and eager to help instead giving run around. I will certainly recommend them to anyone who is hardworking and looking for institution that is local and one phone call away. Branch manager Miss Brenda, miss Tammy and miss Skyler worked tirelessly when I created problem with my autopay. They stepped in without hesitation. “Edit March 9th 2025 : Carter Bank has contacted us regarding my review. I feel bad and certainly don't want anybody to get in trouble. I did not realize there were new employees. The Wire did eventually go through successfully. I guess I was just frustrated that it took so long, but I should have had more understanding. Carter Bank takes their reviews very seriously. I changed my review because I think the overall professionalism of the bank itself is outstanding. I truly believe this is a great place for your financial needs. As I said on my previous review, everybody was extremely friendly and professional. I was just upset that it took so long but I think I jumped the gun with my original review.
Original: It was a great Bank when Sophia worked there. Now this Bank does not know how to wire money! Five people and not one could figure out how to wire funds. I thought this bank was great until I actually needed a service. Looks like Sophia knew everything, and now that she doesn't work there anymore it's frustrating. I guess she was the only one who attended training. Friendliness is great, but knowing your job is better. So now I sit here with five friendly people who can't do a service for me!!!”
“Called around to a bunch of different banks and needed to get a letter of being denied for a loan ASAP. They did all the stuff over the phone. Quick and painless. Great customer service even though they were not going to make money on this time spent with me. It seems hard to get great customer service nowadays. I was just blown away at how fast and smooth they were.”

I needed to make a small deposit and resolve one technical issue I was having with my account. I will be honest that when I left home and drove to this branch, I was mumbling, “OH NO, NOT AGAIN.” But it all changed as soon as I walked in. Miss May greeted me and helped me right away to resolve the issue. Not only that, but she also made sure by double-checking that I would no longer have to carry stress due to the technical issues with my account. I must say she went well beyond my expectations to help me out. You generally don’t get these types of services in the banking sector. Thank you Miss May.”
