This is a basic, minimum frills hotel, appropriately 2-star. Room was clean, but missing some basic items. No room safe. Apparently, housekeeping does not routinely come daily. Good location but the hotel needs to up its game.

We had an issue with the pricing of the room. The desk clerk could not find the same rate that we found on hilden.com so we had to stand there and book it through Hilton not a third-party app in order to get the better rate Her room needs a little maintenance but otherwise a pleasant experience

Great hotel to experience downtown Roanoke. Rooms were typical HI&S but service was excellent.
