“This was my 1st time to roanoke and i was staying at a hotel just across the street, while it was closed, i saw a jacket. I just had to have it and i made an agreement with myself, and said if jacket was $300, im going to buy it....i went to store next day and ask about it. Sure enough it it was $300...the salesperson was so helpful and had to take jacket off mannequin...i just enjoyed the place so much...the prices were reasonable. Now i hope to get clothing online....thank you”

“I live in Florida, and my parents live in Roanoke. My dad told me about this place a couple of years ago, and now, every time I go up there to visit, I come here for work boots. I'm a glazer by trade and needed something versatile for indoor, outdoor. But also well made to protect my feet from glass. The guy here spent about an hour recommending different boots and soles until I set my mind to the thuroughgood moc toe. I have had the soles replaced, and the leather cleaned and conditioned twice. Both times, I find myself amazed at the craftsmanship and skill level of the employees here!A couple of weeks ago, I ran my foot over with my lawnmower. Pretty good, too. Sucked my whole boot into the mower blade. Well, my boot is destroyed, but I still have all my toes. The boot undoubtedly saved my foot! I will attach some photos! Basically, this place saved me my foot! And I'll fly to Virginia to buy work boots as long as they are open for business!!!! Thank you crossroads shoe repair!! From my entire family!”

“This year for Christmas, like every other girl, I wanted the Ugg Tasman slippers in chestnut brown. I called all over the country and remembered I got my Ugg boots in high school at Yarids so I gave them a call from Florida. I called and they were out of stock, but put me on a waitlist in December with little hope of them arriving before Christmas. Weeks before Christmas they called to let me know they received the shoes I wanted in my size at their Charleston location and would ship them for me!!! They went over and beyond and called me several times to ensure the order went through and give me shipping confirmation!! They arrived to Florida in less than 48 hours and are PERFECT! I am so thankful I thought of Yarids! Great customer service and so helpful even during the stressful time of the holidays. Please shop small and shop local before shopping big name stores online. I cannot recommend Yarids enough!!! Thank you all again! I haven’t taken them off since I got them!!!”

He inquired about the shoes with one of the store’s staff, Sylvia King. She gave exceptional customer service in helping him find the perfect shoe, in his size. Ms. King was most pleasant, we hope she will be working when we return to shop at DSW.”
