About Hertz Car Rental - Salem - East 4th Street
Hertz Car Rental - Salem East 4th Street HLE offers a wide selection of vehicles including luxury and sports cars, SUVs, EVs, vans, and trucks. The location receives mixed reviews highlighting both excellent service and some policy frustrations. Multiple customers report fantastic service and customer support, with staff described as going above and beyond, amazing, kind, gracious, and impeccable. Specific employees are noted for their helpfulness, technical sense, and for making rentals possible with fantastic service. One customer's family has rented many times without any issues.
Positive experiences include free upgrades to nice vehicles, smooth and roomy cars, and hassle-free extensions of rental periods. The staff are said to truly care about customers. However, a significant criticism involves rental policies. One disabled reviewer found the process a waste of time, stating the location does not allow people without a driver's license to pay for a rental, requiring both a license and credit card in the renter's name despite online booking information suggesting otherwise. Despite this, many customers express strong loyalty, stating they will always rent from this location.

Talia was a great help. She resolved an issue for us, gave us good directions to the highway and made the rental process as smooth as possible. She was extremely helpful.
