“Joining this YMCA might be the best decision I've made since moving to Richmond. Super clean, great pool, and everybody is so friendly, staff and members alike. I also love that I can go to any Y with my membership, has come in handy while traveling or even just checking out the other Ys in Richmond.”

“If I can give more than 5 stars, I would! The Doorways has been a wonderful blessing to me and my family. When you first walk in, you are instantly greeted with warm smiles by the check in clerks. They are happy to help and answer any questions you have. The general areas as well as the rooms have a homey type of feeling. Just beautiful!I felt right at home and slept great. This was exactly the atmosphere I needed while going through a medical crisis.Thankyou!”
“This thrift store is super clean and organized. Great prices. Friendly staff. Always seems to have a sale on clothes and shoes. Despite what Google maps may say, open the first and third Saturday every month!”
“Rag & Bones offered me wonderful hospitality & experience with their expertise around bicycle mechanics from the moment I walked through the doors. They helped me get my used mountain bicycle in better//safer riding condition, giving concise explanation throughout. This Co-Op puts an emphasis on the Cooperation in Co-Op. 10/10 will come back & recommend them to anyone looking to tune up/repair their old and/or new bicycle.”

“Great place for practicing. Grass tees are always open besides the winter, understandably. Par 3 course let’s you practice most aspects of your game and the chipping and bunker practice area is great. On the driving range I do wish there were yard markers every 50 yards to get a more accurate distance of my shots.”
“I participated in a volunteer activity at the ToolBank where we (in groups of three) built four picnic tables to be placed in the community. While I'm sure the highly skilled people running the bank could have built the same picnic table in 20 minutes that took us three hours, this was an excellent team building activity and was a lot of fun. I learned a good bit about using different tools and I felt a great sense of accomplishment at the end. They also sell kits to make the picnic tables at your own home, and then place in the community.I had no idea that the ToolBank existed, and will definitely use them for future needs for my nonprofit. I even noticed folding chairs, tables, and coolers. Will definitely use them for any and all event hosting.”
“Thank you! Amazing staff (of volunteers) took care of my son and me while we were traveling. They also helped about 20 junior soldiers travel through. Keep up the great work!”
“Purchased a dishwasher, new in box for a third of cost. They have used everything too. Doors, cabinets etc and all kinds of household items and appliances. Tools, paint, flooring. But if you see it buy it! Too great a price to hold out. Never know what you might find.”

“Just joined and outside of the limited hours, this is a great gym. I like the hatha yoga class with Gary, and even at peak hours there's enough space to keep moving.”

“This is coming from a teen who was in the crisis unit- it’s amazing. I’ve been to many crisis stabilization units, and Saint Joseph’s by far is the best. At other crisis units, the staff just act like they’re your doctor, you mostly just sit there and watch tv, and the only thing the staff cares about is your meds. At Saint Joseph’s, is was completely different. I bonded with the staff, along with the other teenagers and children. The children and teens bonded too. The staff truly cares about how your feeling, and how they can help, they truly want what’s best for the kid, and they are the nicest most understanding people. Saint Joseph’s crisis unit actually helped me, unlike other crisis units. I highly recommend this to a teenager in need of mental health help. These people are a blessing!”
“I've stopped here a few years back when they had vegetable sales and/or a special event (selling food). They showed me their list of programs for helping people in the community and I was very impressed. The building, parking lot and gardens are always in top condition.”
“This was an amazing place for us in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Saw Mr. Bob for the first time in over 35 years. Almost brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for believing in us, Gilpin Court babies!!”
