“Dad drove away from the house on a Saturday night in a snow storm. ( AD ) He ran out of gas at 430 in the morning in the middle of the road. He end up going to the hospital. Thomas towing came out and picked up his car held it for a few days till I could drive up from Carolina in the snow from the storm. Even as busy a Thomas was and running on no sleep he was able to answer my question and work with me on picking up the car. He even asked how my dad was doing! In the end great experience with them customer service A+ 6 out of 5 Stars
Also not sure of pricing in Richmond during after hours in a snow storm but I was very happy with the end price lower than in Carolina.”

“My husband and I found ourselves stuck at Sheetz when we went to put air in our tire and their air pump did not work.By the time we got there our tire was flat. I called Mathews Towing and they did not hesitate to come out. He said he would be there in 15 minutes and was really close to the time.Not only was he pleasant and friendly to talk to but very understanding of our situation. “My experience has been great at this place. I Have had some issues since getting my car back the owner Scott both times has been on top of it. For me personally, I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect to be taken care if I have an issue after the fact. That is exactly what has happened here. Integrity. A week after getting my window replaced the window came off track. I drove right into Chester autobody- Scott stopped what he was doing- Came right out worked on my door for about an hour, Stripped the whole thing down right in front of me, not only found the issue but explained what was the issue, owned up to where they could’ve been better & didn’t make me feel weird about it in the process.
I I highly doubt that they ever have cars that come back with these type of issues, I am sure I am an anomaly. I just wanted to make sure I let others know who are looking for integrity in a body shop. It is here.”

“I had the privilege to have Prince come to rescue me on the side of the road. My insurance company recommended him so I felt safe and secure by that.
Not only did he show up in the correct amount of time he came to change my tire that unbeknownst to me. I did not have a spare or a jack.
That didn’t stop him. He took the tire off my car took it to a tire place retrieved a spare tire for my car and put it back on my car so that I could get safely home and deal with the situation.
He saved me money by not having a tow. And although he was not sent to retrieve a spare at a dealership that didn’t stop him from going above and beyond
For small mechanical needs like batteries or tires. I would highly recommend calling Prince. I’m a senior and it’s good to have a contact that will come to your house to help you

“A while back I visited almost every auto body shop in town looking for someone to paint my 34-year-old Ford F-250 pickup. It was badly rusted, paint was almost completely gone, and some body parts were damaged. After visiting many, and after working the phone looking for shops in central Virginia, I happened to run into Steve Robinson of Capital City Collision. Steve was pretty up front with me, telling me that my truck was just going to take too much work and would block up a shop for too long. BUT… he did agree to take it if I’d just leave it, and they’d get to it whenever they had free time. (I’d learned from the others that these shops make their money from the insurance company jobs; full repair and repaint jobs just aren’t where the money is.) He warned me it was going to take a while. And it did! BUT, I recently got my truck back, and it looks just like it did the day it came from the dealership in 1990! Ford’s two-tone red and white paint looks original! They’ve matched up new rubber accents and replaced mirrors and pin stripes. They even took dents out of trim and replaced a rotted-out bumper. This truck looks brand new! (Did I mention they cleaned, removed and replaced the painted in bed liner?). My goal all along has been to return my father-in-law’s favorite truck to good condition... and these guys overshot the goal! To Steve and all the guys there, I say Thanks! A big thank you for exceeding all my expectations! And a special thanks for what I consider to be a more than fair price! You guys are the best!”

“Just wanted to thank Ren over at the Commerce road location. I was driving down the road and my tire pressure monitor light came on and I pulled into Leete just to see if they could check pressures and make sure I hadn’t run over a nail or risk having a blow out on the highway and Ren checked all 4 tires and the spare and found a few tires were under pressure and had tripped the tire pressure sensor. He checked for punctures & filled all tires up including the spare (which he had to crawl up underneath of my 4runner to get to) and the sensor light went away. He didn’t even charge me even though it took 10-15 minutes out of his day. I just wanted to say thanks to him and Leete for helping me out at a moments notice and ensuring my car was safe to drive. I will definitely recommend this place to other people. Thanks again.”

“Parked in my buddy’s apartment lot without a pass and got towed this time. Called the number on the sign for the lot at 1:00 am, they had a night crew setup to answer and provide information. They let me know the opening hours and that there would be a $180 charge and to bring cash. In the morning I got there and called the number again, someone promptly came out to help me. They asked for my ID, filled out the proper paperwork, accepted my payment without trying to add on any other charges, and let me have my car no problem. I checked afterward, no damage to my car and nothing missing or gone through. They’re not located in the best looking area, and I kinda wish they accepted card. But I wouldn’t say they deserve only 1 star reviews.”
