“I could not be more impressed by this place! The food was like being at a 5-star resort! I haven't stopped talking about the jerk chicken and how it was better than than what we had IN Jamaica! I don't know who's grandmother is in the back cooking, but give them a raise! We were there for 3 days and every single meal was off the charts! The classrooms were great. The bathrooms were super clean and nice. Close to the airport and hotels. Such a cool concept for off-site meetings. LOVED IT! Well Done!”

“We worked with Jason who not only made us a beautiful wedding cake, but also an adorable baby Yoda groom's cake. The cake was so delicious! We picked a vanilla cake with raspberry ganache filling and it was full of flavor without being overly sweet. We also ordered “his and her” bonbons for each place setting that paired with our cake. They were a hit with our guests! The Conche is one of my husband and I's favorite restaurants and we were so excited when we learned they also make wedding cakes! Fabulous experience as always!”

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but Loudoun Ice Centre deserves one.

We’ve been coming here for two years now. Starting once a week for the first eight months, and then twice a week ever since. While we haven’t attended public skate, hosted a party, or tried the Zamboni driving lessons, I think we’ve participated in nearly everything else the centre offers. Our focus has primarily been on hockey and goalie training.

There honestly aren’t enough stars to rate how much we appreciate this place, the family who runs it, and the coaching staff. The goalie coaching is truly next-level. I won’t name individual staff, but I can say this: in two years, we haven’t had a single bad session. The coaches have an amazing ability to adjust their approach in real-time to fit each kid’s needs! Whether that’s old-school intensity or modern, developmental focus. That kind of intuitive coaching is rare.

As an old hockey dad who played myself, I’m constantly impressed by how well this team excels in passing on the positive aspects of hockey culture, often better than the local clubs do. Maybe it’s because we’re further south, maybe it’s just the people. Whatever the reason, Loudoun Ice Centre has become one of the best resources we could’ve hoped for in our child’s development, on and off the ice.

Now, no review is complete without at least a few cons. However, I had to really think hard.

The minor issues we’ve had over two years are mostly hiccups with the third-party booking software, not the staff. Also, for new families signing up for summer camps, some of the info can be hard to find. It’s mostly because so many families are already “in the know,” and things run smoothly for the regulars. But just ask! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the community of parents is supportive and welcoming.

One last note - more of a heads-up than a complaint: the showers are cold. I took some early-morning “back to beer league” lessons and had to shower before work. Those showers felt colder than when I did Arctic rescue training decades ago. Just be prepared!

In short: great place, great people, and a fantastic experience for the kids (us adults too!) Highly recommended!”

“We had a HS graduation party at Cascades. It was great. The hall was spacious and satisfied all our party needs. The extra suites, kitchen space were a real nice touch. Thanks to Judith and Taylor for the coordination.”

“A coworker who is a member at Trump National DC invited me and a client for a round of golf on the Riverview course. This was a spectacular course overlooking the Potomac river and is truly championship level (it has hosted PGA tournaments in the past). The clubhouse is top notch as you'd expect and was a five star experience through and through. In a perfect world i'd love to be back soon!”

“There is a camp there in the summer called PGC and the camp there is amazing. They first start in the classroom and if your child really likes Basketball this is the camp that you should go to!”

“The Cherry Blossom Banquet Team was super awesome. They have such a great manager in Marco. He helped make sure all the details we wanted from decoration to food was to our wanting. Our guest loved the venue, food, and service. The hall is spacious. Honestly even though we hosted the event it felt like we came as guests as well. The banquet team takes care of everything. I would recommend doing any type of event here.”

The hospitality at Candlewood Suites Washington Dulles Sterling was awesome. Amy and Adam were amazing and polite to work with. We had some guys stay here for work for about a month, and it was a pleasurable experience.

“From the outside this place looks like an abandoned building. Once you step in you are confronted with this really cool retro modern looking alley. Rental shoes are perfect. Plenty of ball options. The food is excellent. Cold buckets of beer. Absolutely amazing.”
