“Kohls store 1216 in Suffolk VA is the store to shop at. The staff, mainly Mr. Eli and Mike are the absolute best. Most of the associates are very polite and always ready to assist you in finding merchandise or assisting you on your mobile app for more savings. The only complaint I have noticed with this location is the lack of carts. These shopping carts are very outdated and wobbly. The only ones available to customers are the ones with the baby seats. The Battlefield store have the nice gray carts and are very sturdy for whatever you have to place in them. Please update the Suffolk VA store to go along with the update of the cosmetics department and beautiful staff.”

“Who knew T.J. Maxx was the place to get dog toys at? A friend recently recommended that I come here for dog toys & they had SOOO many! I left with a bunch for a good price.”

“Hat’s off to Ms Arianna who saved my life (figuratively) but I am living nonetheless! The night before I ate the rest of my wife's M&M’s and she looked for them this afternoon for a snack.
Stacy, she asked, did you eat my M&M’s? Yes. Let's talk about this, you went into the garage, into my car, and my glove compartment, and grabbed my M&M’s and ate them all without considering me and how that would make me feel? I felt horrible and immediately put my shoes on to go and replace what I had eaten. She said to specifically get them from Dollar Tree and the store was OUT! OMG, what do I do now….Arianna went to the back, found a whole box of M&M’s, and brought them out to save my life. I bought two boxes because of Arianna’s efforts. That's customer service Dollar Tree, Hats off to Arianna, give that young lady recognition.”

“I am updating my review from 3 years ago. The basic reason for the update and 4 stars is the pharmacy. I have been a Kroger customer for decades starting in Ohio where I lived 30 mikes from their Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati. Stores located close to Corporate Headquarters are always the best because the regionals and store management are always on their toes. They never know when the suits from Corporate will stop by to check on things. Having worked in management in the retail/wholesale grocery industry for 13 years, I can tell you that is a fact. After I moved to the Peninsula I sought out the Yorktown Kroger because of familiarity and the ease of transferring my prescription meds from one store to another. And, then when I moved down from the Peninsula I again looked for the closest Kroger. This Marketplace store is not is not as good as the one I shopped in Ohio. They let many things slide and have ordering issues, especially in produce where they beat the produce to death causing spoilage issues and consequently stocking problems. My biggest complaint is their lack of attention and caring about keeping the electric carts charged and in good repair. As a disabled person I cannot grocery shop without an electric cart and I can seldom find one here. I have started just picking up my groceries curbside or having a competitor deliver to my home. Not my first choice but my only option. However, I have not stopped using the pharmacy. They are extremely efficient. I hear others complain about their pharmacy of choice and I don't experience any of those problems. They even answer the phone by the third ring EVERY time. I recently had to use another pharmacy company, because of supply chain problems, and it was a nightmare. It took 2 weeks to get the prescription filled and I only received it then because Kroger called them and straightened it out. THANK YOU TAYLOR!!! So with all it's flaws I think Barney Kroger would be proud.”

“Ross is always my to go to place whenever I am looking for an outfit or just an item for a good reasonable price ! They have good selections of things and the staffs are very friendly !”

“Solid clothing store with a variety of departments and decent selection. The store has enough changing rooms and cash registers next to each section that you can make a quick trip. Changing rooms could be a little cleaner and provide some type of bench / chair to rest clothes on (the one closest to the main entrance). The clothes are reasonably priced for what you get.”

“Well, we pulled up to this location with a goal in mind. My baby loves the Fruity Peebles treats and not all stores carry them. We recently noticed this chain carries them. Well I was in the area and I figured I would peek a boo in here to see if they have any. Yup!! Three boxes left, we grabbed them all! This store is a bit tight inside like most of the locations. But they have a lot of great finds in here. The cashier was friendly. No wait in line... plenty of parking. Nearby stores... not many, I think I spotted Aarons Rental and Planet Fitness. Across, Dominos. Check them out - have fun and enjoy life :)”

“I have been with Kroger Pharmacy on University for years. I changed health insurance plans for 2025 and Kroger is not in their network?. I'm hating this. Kroger always have my medications at decent prices, always on time, and the people are nice. I'm not happy with leaving them to go somewhere. ???. Had I known I would have never chosen this new insurance. I will miss your services.”

“I still go to Walmart. Not as much as usual,try to budget my $. Prices are still pretty good. Their are item's that I know I can get at Food Lion a little cheaper. You have to price comparison.”

She was a breath of fresh air, her customer service is absolutely impeccable and Kroger is very lucky to have an employee like her. “Great size! Just catch it on good days when it’s not packed. It’s good to shop online using the app as well. The only annoying thing is the security doors and frequent alarms.”

“I am customer of my favorite grocery Walmart Supercenter many years. I buy different things and stuff for my home in Walmart and never disappoint of service, friendly employees, clean terminals, good carts, items on pavilions, fresh vegetables, fruits, plants and food. I wish that Walmart will exist forever with low prices for their customers.”
