8864 Richmond Rd, ToanoI drive all the way from Richmond to get takeout, there's not a place within 75 miles from me that even comes close to Two Drummers Smokehouse, the food from sides to cornbread to the real reason I go which is their bbq is unmatched, as in me personally have not found any place from Newport news to Richmond that compares to Two Drummers Smokehouse. The staff is always friendly, always polite, that is rare to find nowadays, the restaurant is always clean, and that's rare nowadays, I'm never missing anything that I order and that's rare nowadays. I do drive almost an hour to get there and I get takeout and the food always travels well as in they pack it up properly and that is very rare nowadays, looking for that rare place to eat? Well....Two Drummers Smokehouse is your destination then. I Recommend, I encourage, I challenge anyone to get there and try it.
