3301 Hampton Hwy, YorktownI came in today with my nervous Bernese Mountain dog and she wouldn’t go inside of the door. The owner Faith immediately came out to help me with an additional lead and treats without me having to ask! Her team did an amazing job with her cut and washing her thick undercoat! As I walked in to pick her up I was welcomed with the sight of big hugs, treats and praises to my dog. She told
me she did great and gave me many tips to brush through her undercoat to help shedding. Feels amazing to take our family dog to a place that truly cares and values them! Thank you so much Faith and Surf Dog team!

She expertly groomed the Great Pyrenees in the photo. She also excels at training animals and providing an interactive "day care". Her prices are hard to beat.

York vet seen her immediately and had the surgery scheduled for the next day. The entire staff is kind and attentive. They did not care how many times I called them and the surgeon patiently answered all of our questions. Raya even made some new friends ? 3440 Hampton Hwy, YorktownWe have been going to Magruder Tabb Animal Clinic for many years, and they have always been wonderful with us and our dogs. The staff is consistently kind, professional, and accommodating.
We’ve seen Dr. Wallace for most of our visits over the years, but we have also had great experiences with his colleagues as well. At our most recent appointment, we saw Dr. Fedor, and she was fantastic, patient, gentle, and very reassuring.
One of our dogs can be very anxious during vet visits, and the team handled everything with such care and understanding. We also really appreciate how thoughtfully the new office is set up, with plenty of space and a comfortable environment for both pets and owners.
We highly recommend Magruder Tabb Animal Clinic and will continue coming here for years to come!

She was having complications due to a biopsy that was performed on her a week prior, her body was just not responding and healing, and her health took a serious turn for the worse. I cannot say enough good things about PARC. They were so kind and supportive. Our Luna's body just was so tired and she was suffering. I was able to contact my husband and we made the decision to let her go. He was able to get our kids on video chat, so they could say their goodbyes. They gave me time and space to do that and I am so grateful. I was such a mess that I didn't remember, where I would come to pick my girl up when she was ready to come back home. I called and they told me not to worry and gave me the information I needed. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and attention given to myself and our Luna. She was our world and they made me feel comfortable and at ease in such an emotional time.

Off Leash K9 Training Hampton Roads
1948 George Washington Memorial Hwy, YorktownRue (pictured below) is our 5 month old mini labradoodle. We got her at 8 weeks and contacted 4 different companies about training her. After talking to each one we decided off leash was our best fit since our end goal with Rue is to be my service dog for problems with my TBI. Brett was our trainer and did 4 house visits. With Brett's help we were able to properly teacher her sit, place, and down before she went to him for 2 weeks for training. We weren't worried with her being gone 2 weeks because in the 4 at home sessions we already knew how great of a trainer Brett was and even a better person. Each night we got a report card of how training was going along with videos and pictures. The communication was amazing. Most nights my wife and I would watch the videos blown away that a 5 month old dog was doing what Brett was training. (Sit, down, heel, extended down, place and much more) Since she's been home friends and family have been blown away. She used to go crazy when people came in the house. Now she gets put in a down watches them walk around for a couple min and then is released to go greet the company without any excited peeing like she use to. We are truly blown away by the difference the 2 week board and train has made. Our Service Dog Trainer was blown away as well and is well ahead of the other dogs in the class. We can't thank Brett and off the leash enough. It been an amazing experience and we will recommend Brett and off the leash any chance we get. Thank you Brett and Off Leash!

The prices are reasonable. But, more importantly, they give all the pets frequent attention. The staff is even capable of getting my super anxious dog to play with others. Moreover, the staff are always friendly and flexible. They work hard to squeeze my pets into the schedule. We are very impressed and pleased with Pet Lodge at Yorktown!

The ribeye medium is always excellent, especially for the price and the service is always on point. Those are the fried green tomatoes in the pic. Too much breading for my taste butt still very good.

Sat outside in a hot day at a table beneath a fan. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer - split the four. Delicious. Then a 3 combo meal of Brisket, burnt ends, and St Louis Ribs. No extra sauces - no need to- the meat has great texture and flavor. No sides - I am a devout Carnivore.
