“AJ Madison’s customer service in my experience was AAA. There were issues with my order, due to me entirely. First I ordered the wrong range then I didn’t do my diligence checking out the replacement range and missed some damage. AJM never gave up on me. They continued to work with me until I received the range I wanted. Everyone I encountered at AJM treated me with kindness and respect. in my estimation AJM went over and above to make sure I was a satisfied customer!!! I would not hesitate for a moment to highly recommend AJ Madison as a company to do business with.”

Raj steered me in the right direction for what we need (our house has mostly hardwood floors), told me the pros and cons of each type, explained all the features, demonstrated the product (Richard), and gave me a significant break on the retail price listed online. You will never get that kind of knowledge or attention if you shop at a Walmart or similar store! 5 stars for Ace Vacuums!!”

“We have bought two appliances from Bray and Scarff at the Arlington location since moving into our house 6 years ago. The first was a refrigerator - and it was excellent. We went to the store, had a helpful associate show us models, and - boom - a day later had a new refrigerator.Where Bray and Scarff really shined and impressed us, however, was with our recent stovetop purchase. I won't belabor you with the long story, but the TLDR is that we had tried for months to buy a new stove top from an associate at B&S -- and it was dismal. Endless emails back and forth. We paid for two measurements. And we were constantly chasing the associate.I was about to give up, but then a new associate - Ali - stepped in to help me. WOW What a phenomenal change. Ali was thoughtful, fast, and driven to help us get the stove we wanted. He responded to emails and texts within minutes - not weeks. He got the measurement perfect, communicated very precisely about the details, ordered our Wolf induction stovetop within a few short days (as a pose to MONTHS without ordering from the prior associate) and the second things were delivered, scheduled our install. He was also thoughtful and consultative - not pushing us in one direction or the other, but really helping execute our desires.The crew that did the install was also excellent: kind, thoughtful and were clearly experts. They had to cut about an inch into the countertop, remove parts of our internal cabinetry, and had to do complex removal and setup of the fan system from the crawl space. They did the whole thing in a few short hours and ensured cleanup was done properly.Ali and his team are absolutely amazing. If you go to buy an appliance at B&S - ask for him. You won't be disappointed.”
“From the first second i stepped into the store, Mr. Dexter greeted me kindly and was very professional throughout the whole experience. He was never pushy to purchase either. I bought a fridge and a washer/dryer combo. Store was clean and convenient. Best experience from start to installation. “I came in to get my shark vacuum unclogged. Expressed to the gentlemen what and where the issue was. He unhooked the hose and headed to the back not even 5 mins later hes back with it fixed. He didnt charge me for the hose free of the sock that was stuck in there. No charge just a smile and explanation of what and why. It was sweet of him to do that. Lord knows others would have charged me just for walking in their place. No this man was sweet and explained if he had to take things apart it would have been money involved. In his words (just scooped out what was clogged) thank you again for the help. Shall visit if anything goes wrong again.”

“We have worked with Ferguson for large projects and have been happy. But this time, I was just looking for a few small parts that the large box stores didn’t have. I stopped by Fergusons as a last resort. Who knew Ferguson also had plumbing supplies. I went to the Merrifield location and the service was great. They could tell that I had no idea what I needed and they were patient and extremely helpful. I will no longer be going to the big box stores for plumbing, straight to Ferguson in Merrifield.”

“We’ve had to replace several appliances in our home over the past year, and it was an unpleasant experience with every store we tried — Best Buy, Bray & Scarff, and Costco — . There were defective appliances, poor install and poor service when the appliance had an issue. Our most recent purchase of a dishwasher at ABW was the exception. Our salesperson Prayer was fantastic, and the service was outstanding in every way. Prayer was knowledgeable and informative but not pushy.
Something people don’t always consider when buying appliances is the install process and who will handle service if something goes wrong. The service technicians at ABW are extremely knowledgeable, respectful of your time and home, and the entire process is well-organized from start to finish. The delivery team stayed and tested our dishwasher and were not rushed to leave even though we were their last delivery. This is in marked contrast to our other deliveries. The service guys are also fantastic. The ABW team truly aims to help you with everything. I only wish I had found them sooner.”

Recently, I got the Supco RLE202 Dryer Vent Cleaning System and along with my vacuum cleaner and electric leaf blower, it worked like a charm to purge the "dust bunny nation" colonizing my dryer duct! GO GET ONE, and check Tribles out.”

They were courteous, informative, and highly skilled with our many flooring power outlets, heat/A/C registers and step-down CUT-OUTS, and the required seam sealing for this large area remains absolutely invisible! “In the past while shopping at Home Depot (Bethesda), it was a struggle. Whether it was because of Covid or the lack of staffing, you would need to figure out things yourself. Sometimes you were very lucky when the staff would at least point in the directions of what you were looking for. Today, we stopped by to pick a masonry drill bit set and the customer service were through the roof! It was amazing! Wow, we were shocked at the level of customer service! Great job!!! Don”

Though, some of the products are weirdly priced. The largest (usually the cheapest) of the Brush Killer was notably higher prices than the 1 gallon option.”

“Went to Dyson demo store unplanned was in the mall and wanted to see if they had the diffuser attachment for my air wrap. Zach approached me and asked if I needed help I asked if they had the attachment and he immediately went and grabbed it for me and checked me out. Very good customer service. Quick and easy.
