“I just picked up my repaired Saeco espresso maker that I had taken to Red Vacuums in Vienna, of all places. I have had this machine for many years but it finally just stopped working and I had it in the back of my husband's car to take to the dump. I bought a new espresso machine, but really did not think it worked as well as my old Saeco had when it was working well. Anyway, before he went to the dump with my coffee maker, I recently read some really good reviews about Red Vacuums and their Coffee machine repairs? Who would take an expensive espresso machine to be repaired at vacuum repair place? Well a lot of people have done it at Red Vacuums and were very pleased with the results. So we took it over this last Saturday (yes, 2 days ago!!) and they called me today and said it was fixed for a fraction of what it had originally cost. I immediately brought it home and made my first cappuccino in a very long time on it. I could NOT BELIEVE how much better it was than the new machine I had bought and seriously, so much better than I even remembered it being on this old machine! BRAVO to Red Vacuums! Well done! Thank you so much for repairing my beloved old machine and making it even better than it used to be and in less than 48 hours!!!! Amazing!!! I highly recommend them for everything they repair - they are experts!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!”

“Shafa Babashova, the design coordinator at Bray and Scarff/Tysons is the most gifted, talented and amazing kitchen designer/coordinator! We had received design input from some other companies prior to meeting her. They typically were just replacing the cabinets and countertops. Shafa however was the one who presented a new layout that gave us more storage space, a more open/spacious feel and an architecturally gorgeous and interesting kitchen island. She is so pleasant, patient and attentive. She has a great software program and large screens that allow you to make changes/move things around and visualize what the design will look like. They have a lot of product options. Shafa also works to help lower costs whenever possible. She reached out to me to inform me of manufacturer sales for both the cabinets and the quartz. What's also great is that the kitchen design can be coordinated with the appliance selection. Once I purchased my appliances from Brian (who is the best!!), Shafa and I looked at all the finishes together to make sure that the pulls match the colors of the appliances. It is so nice having the appliance showroom right there!”

“The following review is specifically about the Manager of the Miele Experience Center at the Tyson’s Corner location. Last year, my wife and I splurged and ordered 5 appliances from Miele during a renovation. Initially, I visited the location to explore and learn about the appliances. I spoke with the manager, Heather and other members of staff who were all courteous and helpful. Later, I attended a couple of classes offered, and again found everyone helpful. After the appliances were installed, we encountered a number of questions and a problem or two. In reaching out to Miele customer service, I found myself speaking with a typical offshore call center (not Germany) who were not at all familiar with the products and I became really frustrated as I was unable to get answers. Additionally, as the catalog of help available for the appliances is lacking, I felt disappointed and felt stuck. For what the appliances cost, I expected substantially better. After exhausting all the help avenues available through customer service, I had the good sense to call the Tysons location and ask Heather if she would be able to help me get an answer to a question. She was knowledgeable, kind, resourceful, and all of the other good things you’d want. It was like getting help 50 years ago from someone who cared. Since then, I have relied on her help to get answers to questions she knows, and her help in finding out those answers outside her wheel house. Every time I reach out to her (which is pretty often), she does whatever is necessary to assist. Including following up when necessary. In a time and place where true customer service is scarce at best, and commonly non-existent, Heather is my savior with a smile. While I can’t unreservedly recommend Miele, I can unquestionably say if you are going to purchase Miele products and live in the DMV area, I strongly encourage you to touch base with Heather at the Tysons Experience Center. Miele is incredibly fortunate to have her on board, as she is the “besser” in “immer besser”. If anyone in upper management at Miele reads this, I’d be honored to provide more detail if you would like to reach out to me.”
