Security takes their job seriously and I felt better about leaving things in the venue overnight than most convention centers.

Be aware if you are planing an event here and expect quite there are frequent jets flying overhead which you can hear inside the main hall.”
“I cannot emphasize how much my husband and I LOVE coming to DanceSport on for Friday night lessons and socials. We literally tell anyone who will listen how fun it is, what a great date night it is, and how affordable it is! Talk about bang for your buck. There's always someone willing to teach you a few steps if you're new or don't know a specific dance because everyone is just that friendly. We also did lessons there for a while and hope to do some more eventually and the lessons are top notch as well. Seriously, LOVE DanceSport!”

“Nice rink. Price was average for area. Pretty decent amount of people there on a Friday night. Almost all tweens/teens. The gentleman at the front register commented on my skates, which are over 30 years old, so I thought that was pretty cool. Out of all the rinks in this area this one is definitely my fave. Will be taking my daughter and her friends back soon. And myself of course! Lol. Never too old to have fun skating??”

“There are so many great things I can say about Bayside 218 Masonic lodge and nothing negative.I gave my husband a 70th birthday party there April 29th and it was simply a perfect day. The staff were super helpful and super friendly beyond my expectations They address all Concerns and questions leading up to the date. All the staff I met were super friendly. They made us feel like family. If you want a large room for 100 plus guest I recommend BAYSIDE 218 MASONIC LODGE located on Independence Blvd, VA Beach. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

“Susan and her team did an EXCELLENT job catering for us. Unfortunately our father passed and I quickly needed to arrange catering for 300 guests for his funeral. Susan was empathetic, kind and executed a fantastic reception for us. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Susan was very professional, asked smart questions and did a site visit with me a few days before to ensure she knew the space. I 100% recommend her and her team! “Regina Rose has been the most amazing instructor. Even from just the first session I could see how good of a teacher she is, adapting to how each of us learn. My fiancé and I wanted to take lessons to have a very memorable first dance at our wedding. With me working second shift and him working first shift and having evening classes, our schedule is a mess- but she was consistently flexible and we got several good lessons in. On top of us learning a lot she even recommended a DJ to us and got us a deal with them too. I would recommend Regina to anyone and everyone I hear asking about dance lessons of any kind.”
“A great place to hold your event. There's two rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs that should suit your needs. They also have outdoor areas along the boat dock and a small grassy area nearby. There's also a patio/deck area as well. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.”
“Not a full sized rink. Good spot to keep your skills alive by the very least but due to the smaller size rink it can get crowded easier.
The rental skates I used were in good condition. Not overused like some other ice skating facilities. I hope everyone has a good time on the ice. Oh yea, and the staff was very nice.”
“Talk about a blast from the past situation! The skating rink is fantastic, and the auxiliary rink is so useful. There are so many fun things to do at SK8 House! There's food vendors and arcades and a playground and it's an absolute wonderland for the senses! I love the nostalgic feels skating around the rink with vintage videos up on the screen and the twinkly lights hanging from the ceiling. I'm so glad you exist, SK8 House!”

“This was our first visit to Virginia Beach and Springhill Suites did not disappoint. Our room was clean and as described, the hotel staff were friendly and we enjoyed talking with Chris each morning at breakfast. She was friendly and a delight to talk with. The front desk people were courteous as well and helped answer any questions we had. We will definitely return here in future trips. The location was perfect and we loved the choices of both indoor and outdoor pool.”

“My daughter and I stayed at Four Points for the weekend back in September. We truly enjoyed our stay. From beginning to end, we received great service. The hotel staff were able to accommodate our early check-in. The location was perfect as it was just a few steps from the beach. The room was very clean and our view from the balcony was amazing. The restaurant inside the hotel, Jumpin' Shrimp, had many food options (breakfast is not complimentary but there is a discount for hotel guests). The beach store inside the hotel was also very convenient. Overall, we had a great experience, and I would definitely book a stay at Four Points if we visit Virginia Beach again!”

This review is really 4.5. Hotel is definitely above a mid-level business hotel but not top-tier luxury.
Staff was friendly and highly competent whether Front Desk, restaurant, or building engineer.
From a few decades of business travel, easy to recognize strong management that really cares about satisfied guests.
For a concert at the Sandler Center, the location is unparalleled. Just walk across a quiet street. No stress from hordes of cars after a concert.
The Interlude restaurant deserves kudos as the kitchen and the staff cares about happy diners.
Rooms are comfortably larger than the average 300 square feet.
The three elevators are pleasingly fast.
The adjoining parking garage is free though a bit tight for full-size pickups and SUVs.”

“I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! I was there for a week, and I didn’t come across a single employee who wasn’t kind and friendly, and they were fantastic all-around! They set the bar high. We were traveling with pets, so the pet accommodation was a big deal for us. I’m assuming we got a pet-friendly room, but I could tell they did a good cleaning after previous pet guests, as there were no signs of pets in the room. I was also so pleased that they gave us a room on the first floor when I asked for it at check-in. The process of checking in and out was smooth and easy. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was a queen suite with a full-sized refrigerator, countertop range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, ice maker, utensils, etc. The bathroom included full sized bottles of Dove Daily Moisture shampoo and conditioner and Dove handwash, plus a hairdryer. There’s plenty of space outside to walk your pets, plus a pet cleanup station. There’s also a patio with a grill in the back, and the staff even hosted a burger and hotdog cookout one night and socialized with guests. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the area, especially if you have pets.
