“Excellent customer service. Especially so, given our IHG member standing; I've witnessed their hospitality extend to non IHG members as well. Great centralized location. Dog friendly! This is such a bonus and keeps our family returning. There's been road trips where we utilized VA Beach as a midway point, and other times, we've booked as a destination. Genuinely a great experience each visit. The rooms were well kept and clean; our preferred rooms have had full kitchens, large bthrooms, and double queen beds - perfect for a traveling family of 5 (? and cage included).”

“The location is so great and the parking is very convenient. The room is quite adequate and the oceanfront balcony is a must. The bed and pillows are too soft for my liking. “My friends and I stayed here for two nights and upon arrival the room was not clean. The bathroom was extremely tiny and unclean with dirts and stains in the corners and a dirty tub. Room was supposed to have 2 Queen beds and they were more like extended fulls. Beds kept sliding around constantly and sheets coming up in the corner not to mention questionable stains on said sheets. Staff at front desk was rude upon arrival and seemed like they didn’t want to deal with anyone or anything. The pool was heated which was nice but only 4 feet deep and had some stuff floating around in it. We tried to stream a movie through their internet and couldn’t even watch the movie or play any video games. The only nice thing about this hotel was the view of the Beach. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW UNCOMFORTABLE THESE BEDS WERE!!! Staff were nicer in the day time but it’s a pain getting back into the hotel if you do decided to leave since they lock the doors. I would honestly recommend staying at a different hotel. Not worth it AT ALL!! I wouldn’t pay 30$ to stay here again.”

“Visited in October 2014. The stay was filled with pleasant surprises. There was free parking right in front of the hotel, and we received a very nice welcome package despite only staying for one night. The hotel’s location was ideal, situated next to the boardwalk and beach, with direct access from the lobby. Our room was absolutely great, boasting an impressive view. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, especially considering the rate.”

“This is a hidden gem of a hotel/resort! Though a bit dated in decor (80's-90's), it has been very well maintained. Four Sails has a truly lovely vintage charm. Love the 2 balconies, the jacuzzi tub, and the staff was outstanding. The restaurant, Kitty's, is open for breakfast and lunch off season, and it was delicious. Warm and welcoming, thanks ya'll!”

“Hotel is going through a major renovation. Personnel are highly trained and dependable, when discrepancies arise they are always willing to help and fix the problems. Breakfast area is clean. Food is good. Rooms are of a good size with great views.Hotel will definitely be better after the renovation. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.Rooms: I would like to commend Carla L from the housekeeping department. She has been a shining star of my stay. Her high standards are reflected on her work ethic and attention to detail. She rates well above her peers not only at Springhill but other Marriott hotels.Nearby activities: There are many activities that happen around the hotel. Since you will be in the center of many beach and boardwalk activities be prepared for the road closure of Atlantic Ave.Safety: Area around the hotel is pretty safe. I did not see or experience any criminal activity”

“We like our stay with spacious 2 queen beds suite with 2 TVs. Rooms and bathroom are clean, beds are comfortable. Great location and view is amazing; plus quick access to the beach. Breakfast is yummy except they close it by 9a instead of 10a like most places. Staff are friendly & helpful. Pool is okay but would prefer longer hours.Only thing that I noticed that hotel is a bit old with older doors and elevator. Just like most beach hotels here are old but they tried to renovate most part of the building.”

“This is the view from our room. The front desk was courteous and nice. The room was spacious.m. What we loved about this place was the kitchen, there were cooking and kitchen utensils that we were able to used during our stay. The beds were comfortable. And the scenery in the morning was so peaceful and calming. We will definitely coming back here on summer.☺️”

“My hubby, our 17 month old, and I stayed in room 708, a one bedroom suite. Room provide ample space and was clean. It’s tiled floors throughout the room, which is nice. Nice views from our balcony. The indoor heated pool (4 ft max deep) was great to play in while it was raining outside. Customer service was nice and accommodating. Parking in their garage was easy. Great benefit of having modern clothes washer and dryer on premises for laundry. Note, there’s a resort fee of $25/day that we paid when we checked in that wasn’t included in our third party booking. We were fine with it because we got a great deal staying there. It has direct beach access, including a yard hydrant outside to wash our sandy feet before coming inside. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Recommend this resort.”

It was right next to the freeway & there were several restaurants nearby (especially Anchor Allie's) so it was easy to navigate around. Beautiful, light, open, airy, just like the beach that it's next to. At one time, it was thought that the nicer fancy hotels were at one end and the overused less maintained were at the other end, no longer all of them facing the beach are pristine and luxurious. A great clean family friendly alternative to beaches up north. Boardwalk is concrete.”

“We had blood on our pillow cases, lampshade, a broken light and the guy at the front desk gave me new pillow cases looked at the light and nobody came up to fix the light or get rid of the bloody lampshade!! We got stuck on the elevators, my kids wouldn’t swim because the water in the pool was gross!! Only good thing was our view besides that the hotel and rooms were disgusting!!!Rooms: Gross!!Nearby activities: Shopping and food places are walking distance!Safety: Didn’t feel safe for my kids to walk around the hotel alone!!!Walkability: Pretty good!Food & drinks: Good and drinks were ok outside of the hotel!Noteworthy details: They need better cleaning staff!!!”

“This was a very nice place to stay. We stayed for a week at the end of October into November. The staff was wonderful especially Lexus at the front desk. Very clean with a powerful shower. I brought my own Roku with me and was able to use it on the tvs unlike most hotels (a great feature for me). My only complaint is the light didn't work over the stove, but still we had a great stay overall.Walkability: A lot of great food near by.”

“Booked a room here for three nights because my bathroom was getting remodeled so I needed access to a bath and shower. The single room and bed are surprisingly large and comfortable. Very quiet here since it's the off season. The price was nominal and worth it. Great Mexican restaurant next door. Free breakfast included which was bagels and cream cheese for me but they also have waffle makers, cereal and muffins. Pretty cool place for the price. Pet friendly too as my neighbor in the next room had his dog.”

“I stayed in two different rooms consecutive nights. The first night room was nice and the service was good. The only thing I had to complain about was in the first room the first night, the shower didn’t get hotter than lukewarm so washing was unpleasant. I don’t know if that was just an isolated occasion, or if that room settings were in need of adjustment, but the second night, I had a very nice hot shower to enjoy. In spite of the other reviews contradicting mine, for the price I was pleased about the lack of criminal activity and commotion that I’ve experienced in other hotels”

“This is also a favorite place for an overnight stay or even a stay over work week. The staff are absolutely the best. Doesn't matter what it is or what time it is they gotcha. The rooms are always clean. The location is five star all the way. Rite on the on ramp to 264 and rite in the center of the seven cities. There's not a place in Hampton roads that you can't get to in a short few minutes from this location. If your coming to visit or even local just looking to get away for the night, this is the spot. Top golf is literally walking distance from the hotel. If that doesn't seal the deal for your next hotel booking in the 757 something is just wrong.”
