About Bluegreen Vacations Patrick Henry Square, Ascend Resort Collection
Bluegreen Vacations Patrick Henry Square, Ascend Resort Collection offers spacious and well-equipped suites ideal for a comfortable stay. The rooms feature a larger layout with a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms, along with two bathrooms—one with a tub and shower, and the other with just a shower. The master bathroom is in a separate room, and the decor includes nice wall paintings. While the accommodations are generally clean, some reviews mention signs of wear and tear and issues like room moisture and a small, sometimes sticky feeling in the spaces. Guests appreciate the convenient location near historic Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, and other attractions, making it easy to explore local sights. The property boasts a warm indoor pool, which many find enjoyable, though some note that the pool area can be crowded and the indoor environment may be humid and strongly chlorinated, causing asthma concerns for some visitors. The pool room has limited ventilation and can feel quite humid. The resort provides amenities such as laundry services, a well-stocked kitchen in the suites, and a laundry area. Safety concerns are minimal, with guests feeling secure during their stay. Staff are generally courteous, though service experiences vary; some guests report issues with room supplies or minor inconveniences like noise from nearby trains. The property is highly recommended, especially for those planning vacations in the Virginia Beach area, as its location offers easy access to many amenities and attractions.
Very clean and an absolutely awesome place for a family Vacation resort.

Rooms: We had a two bedroom which worked well for. Stove top, sink, fridge and dishwasher made it a usable kitchen

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the indoor pool room. The pool was nice but it's inside and though there were tons of doors that could be opened, they were locked so there was no ventilation. The room was too humid and smelled so strongly of chlorine that it was triggering asthma problems.
