“I had my blood drawn at the Quest Diagnostics in Woodbridge on Daniel Square Boulevard, and I have to take a moment to recognize Miss Benita, the phlebotomist who took care of me.
I’d arrived early and was sitting in the parking lot well before my appointment, and from the moment she pulled up, I felt nothing but warmth — an unusual, exceptional kind of warmth that you just don’t come across very often. It carried through everything: how she communicated, how she carried herself, how she made me feel comfortable from the very first interaction.
When she called me back and got me settled in the chair, she reassured me that I was in expert hands — forty years in the medical field and in phlebotomy, and she even trains others in the craft. And honestly, her conduct, her character, and the way she did her work absolutely proved it. It was the easiest, smoothest blood draw I’ve had in a very long time.
