This is a small, compact shop, but it’s packed with character. The space is thoughtfully arranged and filled with interesting details that make browsing fun.

What really sets it apart is the mix of items beyond just books. There are nautical pieces and historical items throughout the store, which fit perfectly with the Yorktown waterfront setting and add a lot of personality.

The staff has always been super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

It’s one of those places where you can easily lose track of time. I could easily spend a full day here just exploring everything they have.”

“I go here weekly amd while it is always clean and selection is good, the guy up front who checks people out at the register(balding middle aged white man)always seems to have an attitude. Every time we start to walk up to the register he either walks away and acts like he was doing something amd was busy or he doesn't acknowledge us for about a 2 minutes before he walks over.”

I haven't shopped for books in a while, but the queen and I went for a holiday excursion to find some new reading materials. Just a very nice and enjoyable experience.
