“We were able to find everything we needed and more here! The store layout is simple and easy to find things, and the atmosphere was great. We don’t have to wait too long in the checkout line, either, and the staff member who checked us out was happy and seemed to be enjoying his job, despite the busy throng of customers.
My only regret was we couldn’t find the fantastic gluten free cornbread mix we love so much. I wish you would bring that back! It is most excellent!”

“Everything has been great except for a couple things there's been from what I've seen at all stores not just grocery outlet but all stores have an almost addiction or orders from above to force high fructose corn syrup on us in everything possible same with soy, wheat, gluten, GMOs ( almost all GMOs contain Roundup) Canola oil, vegetable oils, Xanthan gum, gar gum, and other gums, artificial sweeteners, and various food colors and dyes, these are good for nobody except the people selling them”

“More than a convenience market. I Love the availability of genuine Mexican cooking, fresh tortillas, and orders to go.Birria !!! ? Need I say more. But that’s just the beginning of great portions of traditional Frontera cuisine. Today’s stop was for a pot luck for which we bought an 8” round of flan! Photo is what was left after the pot luck for 20!”

Fresh local ingredients, produce and dairy, frozen selection is on point. At home espresso machine owners will love this as a syrup stop. I make homemade ice cream and use the pint soup containers from here”
“Great place for finding organic and non-gmo foods for a better price. You do have to watch expiration dates because sometimes things are set to expire soon. But I have gotten things for much cheaper than typical and been able to freeze what I can’t use before expiring which is awesome.”

“You won’t find more affordable Tobacco prices unless you go to the reservation and even then you won’t find a owner that’s as classy as Ken and his super sweet wife together they have owned this local convenient store for over 30 years or close to it. You won’t find lower prices on tobacco or anything else they sell I no longer live near this store but that doesn’t matter good people and great customer service Ii will drive the extra distance to spend my hard earned money where it’s appreciated and I never leave without more than fai value. “The quintessential neighborhood corner market. I'll typically avoid here during school days/hours. But outside of that, they have all your food/drink essentials. A very large selection of various drinks and snacks makes it the perfect stop for said items. But the true hidden gem is the food! The fresh made sandwiches aren't gourmet by any means but it's a good home made sandwich. And the pizza made fresh is surprisingly delicious! It's one of my daughter's favorite spot for a quick lunch. The people are always super nice there too and when they bake cookies, those are great too! Happy to have a corner store that has become one of our family's weekend stops.”

“Friendly and great service. Has a gas station. Has other stores like mud Bay for pets and it has a Subway place it is got all kinds of other stores in the parking lot area. RV friendly parking while you shop. However pharmacy customer service is very overwhelmed and will show with body language and demonstrating frustration. They will take walk ins but appointments help much better so they said. Upon having an appointment you still face the same overwhelmed experience demonstrating there customerservices they deliver that need very much attention in training. Several attempts and didn't change. First time experience was great contacting the last three different times. I opted to go to another safeway in bonnylake WA where it was a refreshing experience and it showed proffecianalisim and ethics. Hope they reflect from this.”
“The smell of freshly baking bread is a delight. They've got a tandoor and when you buy some of the Afghan bread he pulls you a fresh one out of the tandoor that is piping hot. They've got some spices, raisins, currants, and nuts for sale too. Their grocery selection is a bit sparse and their hours are seemingly erratic but the bread is delicious and the baker seems to be a nice fellow. The price for the bread is pretty cheap as well.”
“Great affordable spot to pick up wine or drink mixers. The retail center is sketchy though with all of the homeless people doing who knows what in the parking lot. Definitely keep an eye out and possibly bring a friend for safety.”

My wife and I decided to shop here again. We liked what we saw, and we picked up a few things. Everything was good, so I have upped a star from 3 to 4.
I'm starting to shop here more often now, I wish some cashiers paid attention to the ring-up. I dealt with Gabriella G. earlier today. She rang up my items and then was going to ring up a customer item right behind me at the same time. I told her that it was not mine. No greeting, sorry, or a thank you. I'm not sure if she got any training. Or she just needs to pay attention I guess if no greetings for the customers.

I usually shop at the Grocery Outlet in Federal Way because it’s convenient, and the store has a decent amount of fresh produce, meat, and baked goods.
It’s been a while since I shopped there. I've seen an employee sneaking and following a customer inside and following him out of the store. That was a bit odd despite having cameras all over the store already.
Anyhow, I like the variety of dried products, but I have not been shopping since there was an incident. I stopped by after work and had my Boeing laptop with me. The second I stepped inside the store, one of the employees told me to leave my backpack with them. I didn't think I heard it right, so I said, “Excuse me?" And the lady (manager) said, “You’re not allowed to take the backpack inside the store,” and I had to leave it with them. I immediately left the store. Before I left, I told the manager and her two employees that ‘I was not going to leave my work laptop with them.’ I don't even trust leaving it in my car, let alone with them.
So, for those fellow Boeing employees who shop at this bargain store, take your backpack or laptop home before you shop there. Otherwise, shop elsewhere.”
