    “Staff was friendly and helpful (especially at the restaurant counter), my husband said the burger and tots he ordered were amazing and I have a friend who highly recommended their breakfast so we'll have to try that next. We grabbed a ton of treats, a canned stuffed animal, and a few items off their used/vintage shelving which was a fun surprise to find! Now...the customers that come in and out are the ones who can make you nervous in this super small place in the middle of nowhere, so just be aware of the eyes on you if you or your family are rye or whole wheat bread amongst the 99.9% country white bread. Also be prepared for dudes in diesel trucks cursing at each other for where they parked at the pump in .05 seconds of arriving.”

    “We went into Albertsons and were initially greeted by a lady who wasn’t very friendly in the meat dept, so we weren’t off to a great start. Then Justin came over to help us, and what a complete turnaround! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Honestly, if it hadn’t been for him, we were ready to leave our full cart behind and walk out. Justin’s cheerful attitude, kindness, and outstanding customer service made all the difference.     “I would give more stars if I could, this is such a little gem. I’ve driven by this place multiple times a day for years and I can’t believe what i’ve been missing. The selection is extensive and comprehensive, I had a hard time trying not to grab one of everything on the shelves. The pastries are to die for, and they even offer to heat them up for you. We tried two of the meat pastries right by the register and I think I found my new food obsession. They were wonderfully soft and so flavorful. One of them is enough to fill you up but not weigh you down. All of these things together are enough to bring me back, but I will specifically be returning for the woman behind the counter. She let us take our time browsing but was immediately there for us when we were ready. She was so so kind, and more helpful than I could’ve asked for. She worked hard to communicate with us despite our language barrier. I went in feeling like an outsider as i’m inexperienced with the culture and she welcomed us in and made this store feel like a slice of home. We tried to tip her at the end as a thank you for how wonderful, patient and attentive she was and she just would not accept it. Now my mission is to learn a bit of Russian before I return :)”

    “I am constantly going to this Safeway location, they have always been wonderful. However, I have noticed that within the past few months there has been a RANCID dirty gym sock smell in between the carbonated beverage isle and the Dairy section. My husband and I cannot stand going anywhere near that area because of the smell. It make us gag and have to cover our mouths in-store. Otherwise, this location is very nice.”

    “I really enjoy Walmart BG. It's new, clean, and the employees are mostly nice. My only area that is frustrating to work with is the pharmacy. I'm not sure why they can't be like the pick up center as even though these employees are running around and doing heavy lifting- they always are polite and get the job done. Transactions should be simple not inconvenient or unpleasant. I feel like the managers of this store do a great job and perhaps walmart pharmacy is just a franchise of the location similar to having fed ex in their building.”

    “How have I just discovered this deli option!? Only $7.99 for 2 large chicken strips and 2 generous (non-meat) sides! So many sides to choose from as well. They'll let you sample as well. Very pleasant worker. Lots of drink options including a Starbucks and a few small tables to eat at. The cashier said Mondays are $5.98/lb chicken day so that's quite the deal as well. I could see picking up and taking to the nearby duck park, Kiwanis Park, or even out to Lewisville Park!”

    “I come here mostly for the pharmacy. I came in 3/16 at 6pm. All of the staff were so friendly and patient with me. I have had a name change, so the system was not registering me. Then found out that my health insurance was bought out by another company (I had no idea). The entire time they were doing their due diligence, making sure I was taken care of. This is one of the best experiences I had here and I'm very thankful for their patience with me.”

    “I had a fantastic experiencing purchasing an engagement ring. The ring was sold at a fair price, and has continued to remain in good condition so far. They honored the insurance plan we bought on the ring and it was slightly resized with no imperfections. Amy Moore was extremely helpful and patient throughout the whole process; I was never pressured to spend more than I wanted to and she was willing to answer all my questions over the course of several weeks. I am very happy with my purchase and would be happy to purchase jewelry here again.”

    “This Fred Meyers, and specifically Dane in the produce department is great. It was late I needed to have balloons filled with helium for my son's birthday, and I won't even explain the day I had going from store to store trying to get them filled. Dane was actually filling in in the floral department, he was helpful and knowledgeable and fixed a couple of the balloons that I brought in that had collapsed valves. He quickly got them all filled and got me on my way. He is awesome and the store is great. I will be shopping here in the future.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
