“I was initially hesitant to book this hotel because I read many of the older reviews online. However, my experience was completely different. It looks like the property has been undergoing renovations, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The improvements are noticeable, and I think many of the older reviews no longer reflect the current condition of the hotel.
I also want to give a special shout-out to the night shift front desk employee. They were extremely professional, welcoming, and helpful during my late check-in. Their friendly attitude and excellent customer service made a great first impression and made my stay even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Auburn, I'd encourage you to judge this hotel based on its current condition rather than older reviews. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again.”
“Travel a lot for work. Was my first time staying in a best western but I must say that the rooms were clean and comfortable, the lobby was amenities were nice, hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel is located close by a lot of restaurant and shops .”

“Good location to stay and take the train, but we rented a car. You could see the mountain Rainier from the breakfast area in the hotel.
Swimming pool was good an fresh plus the jacuzzi was excellent.

“Room was clean and comfy! Bed was super bouncy! Don't tell but I jumped on it just to feel young! Yemarely helped so much! She saved mine and my babies lives for the night! She was quick, respectful, and easy to work with! And the pool! Was amazing just to sit out there by it and look at the sky without all those pesky city buildings! Went to try and stay at Lakewood and was insulted so definitely staying here. EVERY.TIME. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Sometime there is one person who can ruin it.
I choose this hotel because it's where the WACA state test is held. Since we attend it, it is convenient to stay plus it is always clean. Our stay was overall very good. Everything was clean, the pool was a plus, and Brandon at the front desk was truly 5‑star, efficient, friendly, and a standout in customer service.
The only issue was with the breakfast staff. While I was looking at the food with a plate in hand, the staff member said, “Ma’am, you’re not allowed to get food if you are not a guest or checked in here, but go ahead.” I work in the service industry, so the tone surprised me,it was not a pleasant one especially in front of my son. I showed my key card, and all she said was “oh,” with no apology. It dampened the experience, and I waited until I calmed down before eating.
What made it more confusing is that she was cheerful with other guests, even the next morning. I’m not sure what she assumed, but in all my hotel stays in other states, I’ve never been approached like that. If she believes that was polite, I respectfully disagree.
Despite that moment, the stay was good, and I would still return and recommend the hotel. I’ll just tell friends to keep their key card visible at breakfast. Date of stay 4/28-29

“Better than expected, especially for a budget hotel. The shuttle driver was awesome, with quick pick up, very friendly and engaging. The check in girl friendly, held my luggage so that I could go explore, and made check in smooth. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast was standard budget hotel free breakfast, it was clean and ample food. Would have liked a bagel, but hey it was free and can't complain. Great stay and would recommend Sleep Inn to anyone needing a stay close to the airport! 4.5 stars”

“Me and my family were desperately looking for a room late at night. Making reservations online was not easy especially since we were tired. We started driving and finally after stopping at several places we drove upto the Sunset Motel. It was very affordable and it had a full kitchen that made it feel like home away from home. Check in only took about 8 minutes. The gentleman at the desk Drew was wonderful and very helpful. Also the name Sunset Motel agrees with this place because it faces Westward and has a beautiful view that you wouldn't expect within city limits. I look forward to going back someday.”

“At most 15 minutes from SeaTac, this cute hotel is our favorite affordable place to stay when flying out of Seattle. Clean and comfortable, there is a 4 mile trail walk along a stream that starts on the beach just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Nearby are great coffee shops and fine restaurants are a short drive away. Such a respite from the chaos of all the big hotels around SeaTac.”

“This Marriott has those translucent walls between the bathroom and the bedroom. You can't take a shower without flooding the bedroom with light and noise, awakening your partner. Whoever designed these rooms should be taken out back and shot.
The room (419) had a couple of maintenance deficiencies. The shower nozzle was past its operating life and needs to be replaced. Also, the TV's external HDMI connector (for your fire stick, etc) was gone, though the instructions for its use were still there.
Apart from that, our stay was delightful.”

“Wow- this property has changed so much in a year! They have definitely changed for the better! The rooms are new, clean and updated with style and class! Courtney in the front office is always helpful and friendly. She has been a great asset in helping improve the environment for the better! The room was reasonably priced, I was happy to be able to finish up some things for work and get a good nights rest; it was perfectly peaceful and quiet. I will definitely stay here again.”

“The front desk staff were nice and check in process was not too bad. The room is nicer than I expected. I didn't realize it had a kitchen when I booked. No complaints there even though I didn't need it. But good to know for the future. Only thing I can say but it's minor seeing as I'm literally here just to sleep, my room was missing the remote and there was one out of 3 pillows missing a pillow case. Not a big deal. I like this place enough to come back.”
“Perfect for 1 or 2 nights. Light rail 3 minute walk, literally front of hotel. A fridge (good size,better than most hotels I've been)& microwave, was a must for my criteria. Clean and nice staff, a.c. good working condition. The downside, light filtering through curtains--but we will stay here again!”
“Some reviews made this place seem dingy and sketchy. It's neither. It's very clean (i searched for bed bugs per another review, there are none) and there's not much foot traffic. So it feels pretty safe. It was easy to schedule the shuttle, though I don't love leaving my car key...There are only 6 local channels on TV and no refrigerator or microwave, but I'm only here for the one night, so it's suitable for a place to rest my head before the flight. We'll see if this changes post trip, but as of right now, I'm not disappointed. It's adequate for what I need and the price cannot be beat!”
