“10/10 for all things Christmastime! We were looking for nearby spots to take our 1.5 year old to see Santa and the "Burien Mom's Group" on Facebook suggest ZHN. We had never been before. Had no expectations and had a hard time finding out details aside from days/times Santa would be there. Showed up (first weekend in Dec) and NO ONE was there for Santa, zero line. We took our time, Santa gave our daughter a candy cane. Photos are free, taken on your phone, but donations are encouraged and go towards the City. The set up is gorgeous (better than a mall) and Santa was the real thing! It was so lovely to not stress with a crowd and waiting and being rushed. They also let your kiddo choose a free Xmas book from a library of donated books. We then wandered around, picked out ornaments (their selection is honestly unbeatable and worth stopping by just to browse). Went back for a second visit today for our tree! Prices for a locally-owned nursery are SO reasonable (trees, ornaments, etc). Santa was there again, no line, but our daughter didn't want to visit him again haha. Even so, they gave us chocolate chip cookies and another free Xmas book! Everyone that works at the nursery is insanely nice and helpful. Literally greeting you as you enter. My husband and I are SO happy we found this gem.”

“Right now, the flowers are starting to bloom! In February!This garden is a species garden (not hybrid Rhododendrons in the city that are bred to bloom near Mother's Day weekend), so the Rhododendrons bloom here two to four weeks earlier than the Rhododendrons in Seattle!It is a nice stroll through the gardens.I'm a die-hard fan and like to go weekly when the flowers bloom. The Rhododendron Species garden is not in full bloom yet, I'm guessing closer to April, but there are still pretty flowers in bloom, especially Hellebores and Camillias.”

“First time purchasing something from SiteOne as our contractor refer us to them. This company knows the importance of customer service! I was acknowledge right away when I entered the store. Bryan provided information on what to purchase to apply and how to complete the process. What stood out most with SiteOne is that I witness how Bryan conversed with other staff in a professional and positive matter. After completing the sale, Bryan carried my 2 gallons to my truck. “This nursery was a surprise for me, they specialize in Japanese Maples. The nursery looks like is close or abandoned but they are open and ready to help you. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable, she walk us and explain about every variety of maples from how to take care of them and forward. We ended up buying one Japanese Maple and for sure we will come back to buy more.”

“This is our neighborhood florist and they never disappoint. The owner is very good at what she does and has great taste in floral arrangements. Although we have ordered many arrangements over the years, recently we ordered a funeral wreath, last minute and it was so beautiful, I had to share.”

I don't understand why numerous companies hand pick which items will get a Military discount and others will not, but it's not the end of the world.Have found the dedicated parking for veterans a BEAUTIFUL thing, as sometimes the place is packed and it saves me from having to walk extremely far to where I'm trying to shop in.I recommend this location as a place to shop, as you will always get/find what you need extremely quickly.”

“Showed up for Pre-Selection and came back a week later to cut our tree! It seems that if you want to have a U-Cut experience these days you have to go to any tree lots pre-selection. It was a super simple process and the tree was at a great price point, places we have gone to in years past were way more expensive. When we were picking out a tree for pre-selection we had so many different contenders because there was a ton of great options. They manicure all the trees to make them all perfect with a classic Christmas tree shape. I would definitely come back here every year provided I made it to pre-selection. Donut food truck was an added bonus + wreaths for sale. Kind older fella even helped me with my tree out to the parking lot!”

“I'm Happy! Tropical Canna plants finally arrived, after an early cold Spring. Called yesterday and was connected to Dennis in the Garden Department at the Tukwila store. He was very pleasant, and as he was walking through the yard, asked other sales agents for the Tropical Canna. Excitedly, he informed me they had "lots" of them and remarked, yes, beautiful red leaves. I was in the store an hour later; purchased 6 (and other plants!) This year, all the plants looked healthy!! Unfortunately, Dennis was not available for me to give my Thanks; so please extend my Thanks for me!Sallie”
