“BACKGROUND: I called the store and spoke to Es about purchasing a specific color acrylic latex paint that my deck planking supplier's tech rep would closely match the deck plank color. He wanted to know what the "line" of paint was (this question demonstrates product knowledge). I replied I didn't know, and that I would check with the tech rep and get back to him. The tech rep later said any acrylic latex paint would perform well. I went to the store, and Es mixed a quart of the specific color for me. Upon applying the paint to a scrap planking piece, I discovered that the color match was slightly off. I returned to the store with the paint quart and the sample, and showed it to Es. He volunteered (at no extra charge) to experiment with the color to obtain a better match, and would call me when it was ready. Es called the next day to advise me it was ready. I picked it up the next day, and the match on the scrap piece is almost exact!!!!!!POSITIVES: Customer service by Es was truly WORLD CLASS. He was friendly, patient, professional, accommodating, informative, helpful, and competent. A truly delightful experience. I would give him more stars if I could.NEGATIVES: Not a one.”

Though I worked with several different employees, the service was the same - friendly, courteous, & helpful. Although I don't need paint very often, I will definitely use the Peninsula Paint Center on Bainbridge again.”
